Topics include: The performance of the offense and trending in the direction that they need to be, focusing on the fundamentals of not dropping passes and making important catches, Josh doing a good job at not forcing throws and his growth in that area, when they use QB-designed runs, and what it was like from his perspective to play a team for the second time in a season.

I think the big key for the offense will be cleaning up the miscues (drops)

    @David B. Yeah there’s a few

OL OL and more OL…..if the OL is just good across the five then play calling has more options, RBs are better, etc. Josh is completely carrying this offense and even that is him trying to make up for flaws that won’t be fixed this season. KD seems to be a bit lost in the play calling, but without and OL everything looks like a bad call.

This is the team they are going to have to win with. OL isn’t going to get deeper, smarter, faster, or more healthy over these four games. This is our playoff team and we go as far as Josh can take us.

Shakir enough said…… give that man more plays

    Sound Visual Productions S.V.P.

Thank you, I was thinking I can’t be the only one who see that this man wants to make plays !

    1snaj

Great point and the guy doesn’t drop the ball either!

    Jay Smith

I really hope they see your comment. The dude is sneaky in the slot.

    matermark

The Bease is back; it’ll be tougher now for Shakir to see playing time…

Joseph Johnson

This is it. This is our chance. If we want to stay 1 seed, we have to beat the dolphins.

    Jesus

We definitely should get the win, the Dolphins 20th ranked defense is not the same as going against the Jets 3rd ranked defense.

Dutch Flats

Bills offensive scoring over the last 5 games in chronological order from oldest to newest:
33….31….28….24….20…. I notice a pattern here!

    Soy El mismo

    W’s trump ANY # ever

    Stunt585

Yeah, and the offense transitioned from throwing tons of bombs to being more in control. Defenses adjusted to the Bill’s offense, so the offense adjusted in turn, like running the ball more and more. Numbers definitely aren’t the story lol…the team has adjusted significantly, and it’s been working.

    Brian Doty

I do as well…..better defenses and worse weather. 😉

    Amy

@Sportsball Enthusiast  Vikings and Lions are very underrated teams. They’re right up there if not surpassing the Jets…..so there’s that Mr. Enthusiast. The Bills are finding ways to win and a win is a win.

    T. Dobbs

Alien numerical code sequence? What do you see?

The Official Green Kane

Bills are a throwing team.
For everyone clamoring for more runs, the Bills cannot run consistently. Josh is a MVP caliber player, you better believe the Bills are gonna live or die with the ball in Josh’s hands in a close game.

(I would like to see better route schemes for WRs)

    Steve Jamieson

The fans are clamoring for more runs because you have to be able to run effectively to open up the passing game. Balance is all the fans want so this passing offense needs balance.

    PhilF716

They’re top 10 in rushing. They are fine. They can run. The play calling is the issues be the blocking has been terrible.

    Jack Straw

You should be able to run the ball competently this time of year when the weather is bad.

David Dean

Curious what he’s holding for the playoffs

Lyn

Scheme and execution has to be much better for the offense. I can not believe that Buffalo has such a struggle running the ball. Where are the 6 or 7 yard passes? The weapons on this team are not being utilized properly. Hines and James should be used underneath more. Why can’t Buffalo run screen plays!

Mike Carr

people really think the bills should be puttiing up 50 each game lol they ARE getting better each game and like it or not so is every single team in the league. getting closer to playoffs and the fight isnt gonna get easier

    Stunt585

This. Blowing out our opponents the first couple of games set a false expectation. They’ve clawed their way through many quality opponents and come out with a win.

Besides the Patriots, every team has come out hungry as hell to make a statement against the Bills.

James Tomkin

Reporter: “What do you have to do to Beat the other team today?” Coach: “Score more points than they do!” 40 or 20, a win is a win! 10-3! Currently top seed in AFC! Lighten up people!

PhilF716

I love my bills. I love my fellow bills fans.

This isn’t college football. Those blowouts earlier in the year are rare. This year has been the smallest margin of victory league wide in history. We are 10-3. I’m dumbfounded by the complaints. We’re winning decisively. And the 3 losses were all by 8 points total. We used to pray for 8-8. Cmon man.

    Amy

Phil, agreed, so tired of these people. He’s a first year OC @ 10-3, he’s learning and adjusting accordingly. I think he’s doing phenomenal. PredictDaboll had 10 years as OC, and was horrible in Miami his first year. Dropped passes are my frustration, that must stop, catch the damn ball. I dearly miss Beasley, he was clutch on 3rd downs and rarely dropped passes.

    mitch lesinski

@Amy I agree but I also think better play calling/player placement is possible. Can a few things be true at once ? Keep in mind…. I am not an offensive coordinator.

Bill Barone

So funny how then end of last year and beginning of this year I heard alot of people in bills country talking about how this team is better than the late 80s early 90s bills, crying about weather, what the hells going on around here….lol

William Dansereau

This offense need to make more big plays, offense been going south . Need to get back to making touchdowns. O-line need to do better a lot better. Not sure what the hell he talking going in the right direction. Jeeze

Mark Peter

Shakir is a rookie davis all over. Hungry and underutilized. Great hands and and big play capable, get him the touches and put McKenzie back in the gadget schemes and rotate him underneath. He cant handle being in a bigger role clearly, at this point in the season we need to be improving not stumbling the same way every week

Stunt585

Every game has been a fight for the win, all across the NFL this year. I think the media build an expectation that the Bills should be blowing out their opponents every week, which isn’t a realistic expectation. The first two games we did,and I think it set that expectation. The Bills have found ways to win, they’re still amongst the highest scoring teams in the league, and the defense has given among the fewest points in the league. There was a handful of games where a ton of turnovers happened, but has ceased for over a month (yet the media can’t get it out of their minds). Props to the coaches and players not feeding into the media.

Keep it up everyone! Bills fans know the truth about this team.

T Baker

Good comment about players wanting the ball. John Wooden had to have a talk with (future Hall of Famer) Gail Goodrich when he went to UCLA. He told a disgruntled Goodrich that he acknowledged he was a prolific scorer in highscool; but that he wasn’t going to be on the floor much more than 32 minutes. Half that time would be on defense. Of the time on offense, he might have the ball in his hands for 4 or 5 minutes; and he wasn’t going to be shooting every time he had the ball. Coach Wooden wanted to know what he was going to offer the team if not handling the ball. Star players that think they are under-utilized could learn from Wooden. Bill’s are lucky; seems that their stars don’t need that talk.

Stephen Billieves

The best plays are the ones the defense knows are coming and can’t do anything to stop it.

Robert Hallifax

I see the Eagles had 48 points this weekend. Turning Josh into a pocket passer is safe, no interceptions, but safe ain’t gonna cut it.

    James Fontana

Eagles have faced zero adversity this year… 2nd ranked easiest schedule. Going to be a problem for them in the playoffs..Kind of like the 13-3 (2020) Bills.. on cruise control after “hail murrey”… then got to the playoffs and had a hard time scoring against Baltimore and KC..

Errordemn6

Ken is the equivalent to a check down QB

Sarah Christine

Bills fans: We have other playmakers besides Josh, he’s doing too much and costing us games

Also Bills fans: OMG, you turned Josh into a game manager! He needs to do more!

While winning 4 in a row & holding the top spot in the conference and division. 🙄🤦‍♀️😂 Some of you “fans” really need to chill.
