Keenan Allen is back in the good graces of fantasy owners thanks to a stellar Week 12 performance against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen has easily been the most reliable rookie fantasy receiver in the NFL this season, but two straight performances of just four fantasy points in recent weeks likely gave owners pause.
The California product erased those thoughts with eight receptions for 104 yards by halftime against Kansas City. Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune further details Allen’s impressive half:
Keenan Allen’s eight receptions second-most in a first half by any Charger (Gates, 9) since 1992. His 104 yards are 14th-most.

Allen added one more catch in the second half to bring his impressive tally to nine receptions for 124 yards and a smooth 12 fantasy points.
Still not sold on Allen? His performance came against a stout Kansas City defense that entered the game as the NFL’s No. 2 scoring defense and ranked in the top half of the NFL against the position from a fantasy standpoint in ESPN standard leagues.
Allen is a must-start option regardless of the matchup the rest of the way. He encountered a small dip in production, but it was more of an anomaly than a rookie cliff—he’s now scored eight or more fantasy points five times.
Lean on Allen for fantasy consistency. That’s hard to find at any position.
