This game is a mismatch when you look at on paper as the Chiefs are trying to get homefield advantage in the AFC Playoffs and they are coming off a closer than expected win over Denver…. Led by QB Patrick Maholmes the offense is still moving and with TE Travis Kelce being the go-to-receiver… As for Houston, RB Demarion Pierce could be out for this game with an ankle injury… but could find some success in the passing game as the Chiefs are in the lower third when it comes to yards to receivers.

chiefs fan here. I think this was a great preview in that it highlights the strength of the Texans. It’s a long shot…but if everything works toward the Texans…this could be a trap game. All the Chiefs need to do is 1.) not respect Houston because of their pitiful record and 2.) do some more ‘hot dogging’ and get an extra turn over that may cost them the game. It’s an arms race with the Bills and the Bengals for 1st seed. If the Chiefs don’t ‘sleep walk’ this game…they got this.

if the texans played hard against the chiefs like they did against my cowboys and keep it close then i would feel alot better about the win

A game KC really needs to win if they want a CHANCE at the #1 seed and I have seen enough of KC to know they can lose any game at any time (and win any game).. Their Def is HORRID against the pass and make horrible QB’s look like Brady. Somehow I just have this feeling that if we do win it will be close.
