@BaltCall 2K … you missing the picture, we revamping the defensive line, enough with these big 350lbs plus guys that cant get to the qb, and are no for sure run stoppage.
The d line accounted for on 1, 2, 3, 4 sacks as a unit. That’s not good.
The 49rs have shown, defensive linemen, now in this age, need to be blown up athletic defensive ends.
Even with all the blitzing we were just below middle of the pack in sacks. Time to put athletic d linemen on the field now.
That’s our new build and I can’t wait to see a front four of big Raptors attacking gaps.

To me, my only knock is missing out on chiasson in rd one. We could have caught a sack master freak to pair with judon , Campbell and wolfe, then if he panned out, had the leverage to move judon in 2021 vs ink him long term or 2nd franchise tag.
O well….. but again like the new direction of more athletic d.line to gap attack.

Defense had Holes they tried to fix during the season ….they addressed it in Free Agency and in the Draft …it’s never about 1 Player and Game Film isn’t always about end result…the needs appear in losses and in victories…. every year Teams evaluate and fill needs regardless of how the season ends …
