@dave jones If he didn’t fumble which allowed the Lions to score to go 14-6, it would be Vikings 27-23, and we wouldn’t have gone for 2pt conversions every time we scored in the 2nd half as a result! 🤦

@dave jones 2-26-1. There has been multiple games now this year where the defense forces a turnover or stop the opposing offense in the 4th quarter and the vikings come out with 0 pts.

The Zimmer era is likely over, I’d be awfully surprised if the Kirk era is over given how he’s played this year
Idk why people hate on Kirk so much. He’s been average for awhile but he’s playing his best year right now imo. 9th in QBR, 6th in pass yards, Least INTs for a starter, 7th pass yrds/game, and 2nd in passer rating. I think Vikings fans need to look at the defense and coaching for their scapegoat.
@Shadow Same thing I hear all the time. This Vikings team needs to rebuild, we need an upgrade. We ARE not contenders, in any shape or form. An average quarterback like Kirk Cousins who is payed like he is Tom Brady, shouldn’t be here anymore. We need to start over, the Cousins experiment failed. If Kirk was so special, Washington wouldn’t have had to think twice about investing in him. Kirk is a good quarterback but he is nothing elite, nor is his mentality.
@Yeelicious – In no way do I think Kirk is elite. But this year he’s been playing at an extremely high level. If he can be this consistent moving forward then the MIN offense is something to be feared. As of now they have a top 10 scoring offense (Tied with PHI at 10). As a Bears fan, I would do anything to have a functional offense such as the Vikings. With a good defense you are easily playoff contenders and an actual threat. Early on y’all payed Kirk too much but that has fueled the hatred for him. He was never ‘that guy’ but the MIN front office portrayed as ‘that guy’ with the contract they offered. Washington was never gonna offer what MIN was, nobody was. At the time everyone knew it was way overpriced for what he’d accomplished so far. I wouldn’t put that on Kirk tho. Y’all need to clean out the coaching staff and front office.

We’re slowly starting to. Still I agree I don’t think Zimmer is a good fit for our team anymore. We need to become offensive minded now with how the team is.

Justin Jefferson alongside Davante Adams, Cooper Kupp, & Stefon Diggs to name a few are not only incredibly talented but they all have a good feel for the game & that’s something that can’t be taught. JJ18 in due time can put himself up there with the elites if he hasn’t already. Just his second year & he’s playing like no other 2nd year receiver has ever done before?
