Gg Chargers Herbert outing his heart out there and still can’t win

    Let's plays and more Android

@SuperOmnicron of course there not gonna be good no Derwin no Chris Harris

    Adam Stauffer

    #coaching

    Alex Caruso

As a chargers fan I be sad every time we leading by a lot in the 2nd half

J4yB910

This guy has so much potential to be one of the top qbs in the league

    Dominus Hydra

    He already is

    rob p

It will come. He has all the tools.

    Richard Harper

Just wait till they get tape on him

    Dominus Hydra

@Richard Harper you’re stupid because they already had tape on him. What’s the next excuse?

    Richard Harper

@Dominus Hydra just wait till he gets in his 2nd year dudes Gunna be floored

The InvictusSamaritan

He must be sick, his first 3 wins should’ve been against Mahomes, Brady and Brees. Brady and Brees in back to back weeks.

    Johntavious Hardwell

    @J H dammit. Its all Andy Dalton now…..former bengal…

    Ty Nao

what happened refs step in and save the old guard? Happens a lot in NFL

    J H

@Johntavious Hardwell for sure. Giants are 0-5. So sad

    StormingCobra55

He also should have won the Panthers game. We got screwed so hard by the refs in that one.

    Johntavious Hardwell

@StormingCobra55 i didn’t see that one.. But hopefully they get a win against the falcons

Oj Oj

Poor Justin Herbert he’s trying so hard against some of the best qbs in the league

    Peet Ti3

@Tom Brady 6x Super Bowl Champion and Mahomes.

    Patricia Henriquez

What a rookie year drew Tom and Patrick like whatttttr and he held his own

    Henry Stickmin

Herbert is actually as good as Tom Brady now

    Bad Cornflakes

    Good ‘ol J Herb

    Bad Cornflakes

Justin be bustin’ but he ain’t no bust

Napalm Blaziken

To think people said he was gonna be a bust.

    Latrell Davin

Bro I’ve been calling people out who I know who said that Hebert will be a bust. Still very early but he looks very promising ‼️

    Kevin Correa

@Latrell Davin If people wpuld have watched his freshman highlight tape they would have saw this Herbert. AFTER that he has the worst OC in cfb and would not let Herbert throw over 5 yards. All screens. Just watch auburn after they take 14 0 lead 3 straight quarters of no passes over 5 yards all while the best front 7 in cfb stacked the box. Marcus Arroyo is Hot garbage. So glad ducks have Moorhead now

    rob p

He’s only been playing a few games and he looks like he’s been in the league for 10 years.

Michael J

Justin is going to be a great QB in the league.

    Richard Harper

Wait till they get tape on him

    Justin Wilson

@Richard Harper ain’t enough tape by now lol

    Richard Harper

@Justin Wilson just using the excuse when mahomes was blowing up the league his first starts. It was like week 14 and people were still saying wait till the better coaches get tape on this guy

    Justin Wilson

@Richard Harper yeah, only thing that can stop Hebert right now is Herbert. He has to stay motivated and his coaches gotta help him out with the play calling

    StormingCobra55

@Justin Wilson the only thing that has stopped him so far is his defense, his kicker, his OC, some injuries, and some refball. Teams can’t plan for him though, he is a beast.

Jonathan Gillispie

His team continues to find ways to lose games that they should win, poor guy. Lynn also needs to do a bit better with the play calls, and don’t get me started on the kicker.

Edit: Yes, I changed the comment 🙂

    Numbers21589302

I really feel like Lynn’s playcalling was bad, but I also feel he has herberts back. The run run pass play calls are to protect him, that o line is god awful with all their injuries, and the defense keeps looking good then getting gassed. If he keeps letting Herbert drop back he’ll be taking an absolute beating. Idk I don’t think Lynn is free of blame but also I see him unleashing him as well. He looks far better than he did at Oregon.

    jwalt16

    Lynn doesn’t call the plays.

Dani G. Barreto

I was wrong about Herbert… Man I was sooo wrong.

    Felix Kellersmann

Me too, i gotta apologize to him

    Kevin Correa

It is because his OC wouldnt let him throw past 5yards. Only screens. If you watch his freshman highlight you will see this Herbert

    Baste God

A lot of “analysts” look like they were wrong too. But it’s still early. The talent is there though. You know a player is great when teams get film on you and you can still perform. We need to see what he does next season and after that. But he’s been fun to watch so far.

    Scrufy_ Yt

@Baste God to early for what ?

    Charles Groebner

Your not alone. Kids making me eat my words,

Alpha Wolf

I’m not even a Chargers fan but I am absolutely DRAWN to this kid, already a fan of him. It hurts watching his team come up short of the W.

    Alpha Wolf

@HeadEnterprise I’m a Colts fan, which on the contrary I have a QB with a black hole of a future.

    CONTROLLA PLAYA

I remember him always beating my college team Utah lol he’s good

    Peet Ti3

@Alpha Wolf I still check in on phillip every week. He has a solid team around him. Will always love Rivers.

    ramiram84

    @Best Nfl clips BEAST

    ramiram84

    @Alpha Wolf HITTING PUBERTY

Duncan The Delinquent

Justin Herbert got mad potential

Bummer

Wow is all I can say He lost 3 very close games to
MOHOMES
BRADY
and BREES

    Anakin Skywalker

U dont even know how to spell your own QBs name🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

    B H

    Is a not o

    Wyeth Purkiss

    @Anakin Skywalker. Lmao fr

    sport dude

Bruh your a chiefs fan and u cant spell your best player on your team right

Bummer

The Mohomes bs Herbert rivalry is gonna be great

    Jack Baxton

We all thought it would be Mahomes vs Lock

    Bummer

@Jack Baxton it could still be I guess we’ll find out but damn this division could get extremely tough

    Joseph R

    Jack Baxton Herbert better.

    Let's plays and more Android

@Bummer yea when we get everyone back

Jack Baxton

It’s not even Christmas but the Chargers are just giving away wins… despite Herbert balling out

    Peet Ti3

That o-line is killing the whole team. D is gassed from the short offensive drives because so many 3 and outs..and the play calling is horrendous. Run-run-pass..by the time Herbo gets a shot to throw it’s like 3rd and 13 and he gets one play to try and make up an OC continually forcing run plays with a crap line, against a great Run-D. It’s moronic at best. So by the 2nd half, and 4th qtr, the D is exhausted. It’s a major domino effect.

    ramiram84

Chargers D played soft before end of 1st half. coachin staff played super conservative in 2nd half. that’s how theyve lost all their games. b/c of this

    Peet Ti3

@ramiram84 agree with the conservative part. Can’t stand when we get ahead because then I know Lynn will try to run run run run and run some more (which os obviously not their strength) and try to hold a lead instead of going for the jugular and cranking out more points. Did the same thing when Rivers was there too. Lost so many games this way, playing not to lose.

    ramiram84

@Peet Ti3 he needs to learn from coach andy reid. he keeps scoring and doesn’t care by how much theyre up.

    Kiki

It’s a chargers tradition to give.

lil3ric88

This dude gives me Mahomes/Rodgers vibes. The way he throws the ball under pressure, the way his awareness is in the pocket, his ability to role out, set his feet and then make a tough throw. This kid is going to be a superstar, y’all got a good one Chargers. It’s not y’all time but wait a couple more years🔥 maybe even next year🤷🏽‍♂️

    You Like!?

Too bad they have the worst o-line

    Kevin Correa

@You Like!? tank for RT Sewell. Best Blindside Tackle since Orlando Pace

    Cyber Bully

no no no yes yes yes definitely Manning or Elway vibes

    Peet Ti3

@You Like!? exactly this, man. It’s infuriating.

    Berkshire 88

Reminds me of favre with some of his motions

High Voltage

And we don’t even have our big doggs out.
Imagine wit the 3 starting pro bowlers on the line. Bulaga, Trai Turner and Mike Pouncey. How much more effective our running game would be. We lost Keenan in this game in the 1st quarter. We don’t have Austin Eleker, our starting RB that we throw to 10 times a game. I’m not mad that were losing. We have practice squad players playing. If we can draft Alex Leatherwood in the draft we’ll be a problem for years after that. Joe Reed ain’t even running back kicks. That’s how banged up we are.

On Defense is even worse. We don’t have Derwin James, Chris Harris, Drue Tranquil.

I’m alright with being 1-4 for now. If it’s gonna get us a higher draft pick. Minus well since so much guys is injured.

But yeah…super excited to watch Justin Herbert play and do Maholme like throws… He’s getting better with every snap. This was a rough 4 game stretch.
Our schedule gets easier for the next couple weeks. I can see Herbert stringing in 4-5 wins in a row.

    Numbers21589302

Not even a chargers fan, but this team is fun as hell to watch. I feel sorry for y’all with all the injuries but this team has so much potential, offensively and defensively. Also having a stud qb on a rookie contract gives a lot of wiggle room, I genuinely think y’all can get a wild card spot next year with that defense and o line healthy.

    Kevin Correa

    Penei Sewell

High Noon

I was such a doubter on this kid. He had flashes, but was not all that impressive at Oregon. Man, was I wrong. He looks like a special rookie. Glad he’s not in my team’s division. -Seahawks fan

    JJ Edwards

@Bruhcifis ehhh I don’t know to me they are pretty similar they won’t lose you games but they don’t really win you games either, but Goff had Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Still has Woods and Kupp while Jimmy really only has had Kittle.

    kvng_louie

Bruh pac 12 literally is the Mecca of QBs how can u say he’s trash at Oregon when dude was a heisman candidate and help the team finished ranked #6 and won the rose bowl

    Silent Loveless

@JJ Edwards Dude goff is a top 10 qb this year. Currently ranked 3rd on pff behind wilson and Rodgers.

    Numbers21589302

JJ Edwards Goff can sling it and make deep plays happen. Jimmy g has no arm, just relies on a great run game. I’d probably take goff over kyler even, seeing as he’s been pretty bad lately and it seems teams have figured keeping him in the pocket makes it difficult for him to throw. But he’s still good, Jimmy g stinks though.
Always nervous playing Goff and now kyler, but checkdown jimmy jus not so much.

    JJ Edwards

@Numbers21589302 look at who Goff has played…… I’m still not a believer.

JrDans22

Herbert throws absolute piss missiles. Guy has a cannon for an arm

    Marcus Aurelius

    Watch his combine.

    Luke Wilson

Yeah he also threw against the saints defense. It is no secret that the unit is somewhat intellectually incapable.

    Jonathan Ramirez

@Luke Wilson go watch the Tampa bay tape then..

Jeffrey Knopf

one thing about Justin Herbert that i like is that he knows how to use play action (fake hand-off) from the under-center position,
which Philip Rivers was never comfortable at that, because he would fumble the snaps at crucial moments of the game. Rivers was always on shot-gun for most of his career, and he hardly utilized the pump fake to get DBs to bite, and can’t throw on the scramble or running to his right, that is why the chargers don’t run boot-leg for Philip Rivers, he just cant do it, he had limitations, Rivers was more like Drew Bledsoe, a stationary QB who needed a great pro-bowl offensive line in order to succeed and win because he was not mobile, which you need now in todays NFL game.

    Austin Kephart

And unfortunately for Rivers he’s too late in his career to utilize that type of oline you described. He looks like a shell of himself. Sad for Rivers. He was my qb1 for so long.

    Nathan Cady

Rivers was always a beast, in a way he still kinda is, but I’m an an i having so much fun watching Herbert more than I ever did watching Rivers.

Dwyane Wade

As a dolphins fan, I’m pissed we passed up on this guy. He’s ballin

    HeadEnterprise

Let’s see what Tua can do first before u get pissed off. So far, Joe and Herbert living up to their hype.

    Luke Wilson

For josh Rosen? You shouldn’t be allowed to comment on YouTube

    Cordarius Sanders

You’re only pissed now because tua ain’t playing. I’m sure at the time you wanted Tua not Herbert don’t want em now 😂

    Dwyane Wade

@Cordarius Sanders Did I say in words “I don’t want Tua”? Stop cappin dude lol I bet you tons of teams are mad they passed up on him.

    Uso Penitentiary

@Dwyane Wade Bengals have their guy, Washington were never going to go QB, Lions have a QB, Giants just drafted one last year and needed a kind, and you guys took Tua. I doubt any are upset about not getting him. You however just said you’re pissed that y’all passed up on him before ever seeing what Tua is actually capable of. Plus there’s no telling that Herbert would’ve played for y’all right away since Fitzmagic is doing his usual thing

Camara Jack

I need all the analysts who wrote him off before the draft to apologise
