BINGO. even raiders fans think they can make the playoffs, and they are one game behind the chargers. Raiders would pretty much HAVE to win ALL their remaining games. Possible, I guess. The last game against the chiefs, the chiefs will probably sit most of their starters unless they are playing for the number one seed. Raiders MIGHT be able to beat the chiefs backups.

@Panchorcas canโt stop the run all seasonโฆ so true. Last week we lost 3 DTs to boot! The line of scrimmage is where games are won and we canโt deal with either side at the line of scrimmage. Injuries have decimated this team.

@stacky512a Herbert is a Charger for life, like it or not. Stay mad he doesnโt play for your favorite team and continue to carve yโall defense up. Itโs not Herberts fault injuries have decimated our O line, and he fully understands that. Itโs frustrating, but all anyone can hope for is better health for the team as a whole next season

Justin Herbert has to play like a superhero every game in order for the Chargers to have a chance of winning. The team is 30th in rushing yards and the run defense is terrible too (28th in the league). The Chargers need offensive balance and a run defense. Until that happens the team is relying solely on the passing game (ranked 2nd in the league in total yards). Herbert is a great QB, but thatโs not a winning formula, especially in away games. I donโt know if these weaknesses are personnel related – there have been a ton of injuries to key players – or schemes/coaching.
I love Herbert but we already know what his responses are going to be in these interviews. They need to interview other leaders on the team like Derwin James or Khalil Mack more and ask them the tough questions like why can’t you guys push through wet toilet paper and pressure the QB? Why can’t you guys prevent RBs from gaining extra yards after first contact? If you know you’re going against an elite WR like Adams, why isn’t there adjustments being done? Why is this defense struggling so much? Is the defensive scheme too complicated?
I feel so bad for this manโฆ๐ imagine getting hit as much as he does and still pushing through and giving everythingโฆ I want him to stay but I also want him to leave and eventually win a ring

Just glad he can stand and take questions instead of ending up in the hospital. What went on at the start of the 3rd there is so typical Chargers. Doesn’t matter what year, who’s playing, what decade it is….that’s just how it goes, and pretty much has always gone if you’re named the Chargers.
When your defense can’t hold a lead and you’re offense is ALWAYS playing catch up, success in the NFL will be rare.
Justin has to learn just to, “LET IT OUT!” and say what’s on his mind after postgame interviews! Holds back his emotions too much after games they should have won.
Well, this is his team face to the world. In fairness, we don’t know what may have been said behind closed doors.
