@Pista Boy Several games prior but in this one the slow start and horrific INT killed them. Then only able to get FG with chance to win was the nail in the coffin of the Chargers season.
34 completions on 64 attempts.. but at least 10-12 were smart throwaways, and another 15 or so were on the money but dropped. This is a different game if those drops are catches. Herbert’s got the heart of a lion 💪🏼
@My My nah, I like Staley, he just needs to learn how to be a head coach and I hope this at least shows him not to go for it inside your own 20 when you’re only down 10 with a ton of game left.
And yeah he’s been electric. They showed a graphing during the game that said the chargers have the no. 3 scoring offense in the league and among the top 20 all time, but have the worst points allowed in the league, and among the worst all time, particularly in the 4th quarter for both categories. It’s been brutal 😂

I think with better personnel (and a couple more punts and field goals) he’ll do just fine, which I think he knows but doesn’t want to publicly acknowledge which I admit bugs me, but that’s how a lot of coaches are. You guys played the whole game hard Never gave up.it was a heartbreaking ending for us charger fans.
But then I remembered we still have Justin Herbert he showed us not only talent and heart but a whole lot of fight. We have a franchise quarterback and that’s something to be grateful for moving forward as a charger fan .
So much Respect to Justin Herbert, dude played his heart out, kept making play after play for his team, almost single-handedly kept his team in at times, this guy a true franchise quarterback

I’m not giving up on you guys, been a chargers fan since the Don Coryell era, when the grid iron games were played at Jack Murphy stadium, those were the gladiator days. We’ll be back in the Post- Season playoffs I have faith in this team and our head coach.
