Chargers are a great team. Turnovers hurt. Chargers are a team to be reckoned with. The Chiefs defense adjusted in the second half.

@Co Degus This season Herbert has 3 game winning drives/3 4th quarter comebacks. That’s tied for 4th. The three ahead of him, he’s got a higher QBR than except for Daniel Jones (who averages 97 less passing yards per game). He also gets sacked less than any other QB while having similar time to throw. He’s really good at escaping the pass rush. But that 3rd and 18 pass was perfect and clutch as hell when they were down by 3. That wasn’t getting bailed out. Plenty of receivers would have made that catch and it needed to be out in front to not get knocked down or picked off. Then the TD pass was on the money and he wasn’t even stepping into the throw. He also had another perfect deep ball earlier. Herbert had a solid game. That 1st down that he took a sack was just a great play by the defensive lineman. It was set up so if the offensive linemen just made good blocks, he could have scrambled for a good chunk of yards like Mahomes did on the previous possession. Then obviously with less than 30 seconds left, 40 yards from field goal range, some less than ideal throws needed to be taken. The throw was pretty close and would have just been an incomplete without that convenient deflection for KC that popped up right to the defender coming from upfield. But yeah bro, keep being an armchair football analyst. Herbert is 5th in passing yards per game and better than 75% of starting QBs. He hasn’t had a multiple interception game this season. That one this game I’m sure he wouldn’t have taken if it wasn’t in rushed circumstances. Their biggest problem is they scored that TD too quick. But obviously with 2:30 left, if a good opportunity for a TD pass is available to go up by 4, you gotta take it. Odds of KC pulling off a game winning TD drive were less than 25%. Unfortunately they were playing against the super bowl favorite which has the best QB in the league (Which is my fantasy QB, I might add) hahaha. But yeah bro, keep up with your genius armchair analytics. You should apply for a job with one of the major networks.

@Co Degus and by the way, I’m not even a chargers or Herbert fan. I live in Utah and we don’t have a team so I’m impartial to NFL teams and players. Just like watching good teams play each other and close games

@Co DegusHe had 1 timeout with 15 seconds left.. With a defender in his face, his oline letting everyone through all game and none of his receivers getting open. Not sure what you expect him to do in that scenario? If you were him what would you have done since obviously you have elite game knowledge and an elite level QB somehow doesn’t. 😂

on the losing pick is swear i’ve seen that same all out/dig route earlier in the game and they both didn’t work

Asked Rivers same sh*t happens to him. Some don’t even realized the last 10 years of Rivers career all they drafted for OL helped in the first round was DJ Fluker lol I’m not even sure how Rivers managed with the crappie OLine seeing how even mobile Herbert is struggling on such a more upgraded OL then what Rivers had.

At least 4 or 5 the only pick hes thrown that was deflected was the pick 6 week 2 against this same chiefs team.

I’m not old but I’m not young, been a football guy all of my life. The Chargers will have their day. Everyone eventually does. It’s a league of the best in the world, it takes a really special combination to be the best of the best. The Packers had it, then the Cowboys/Steelers, then the Niners/Steelers/Packers/Cowboys, then it was Brady’s turn (still is a little haha) and now it’s the Chiefs. Might take a lifetime but the Chargers will have their day.
