Luckily they did us a favor today losing, but there was no way Tua was gonna put up any significant numbers against Vrabel’s defense. Fouts hadn’t been in uniform for sometime when Herbert was coming of age but Fouts still casts a big shadow in the state of Oregon. Interestingly, when Herbert was 9, he wrote a little essay about what he would do when he grew up. He wrote he’d play QB in the NFL and live in Los Angeles. That was 2007. There were no NFL teams in L.A. in 2007. He not only is an All-Pro QB but a soothsayer, as well.
