This is why Telesco drafted him in the first place. It’s unfortunate Taylor got injured, but at the end of the day he’s going to be the franchise QB. Why not start him now.

If Herbert doesn’t start next week I expect tyrod and lyn will be out the door come towards the end of this season.
Even in his press conf he looks poised and answers intelligently. Herbert’s a smart kid, athletic, and has the ability to grasp the NFL culture. He’ll only get better if they let him play. This is why they drafted him. Taylor was never the future.
Needs to work on his mistakes as well, he was literally 2 steps from the first down and tried to make a big play which ended up in a pick. Besides that he looked solid
They better start Hebert because he played so well. Even though he made some mistakes, he is still a rookie at the end of the day. After he learns all his mistakes, he will adjust and being a stable starter for this LA Chargers team! Tyrod underperform compared to Hebert so I think we should start him next week against the Panthers!
