Absolutely trade Quinn & Roquan but Monty is a beast! He would’ve never stopped 10 yards from the end zone like Herbert did 🤔 Herbert is half the player then Monty is. If Getsy would just leave Monty in until he says take him out it would be so much better. Use him in the passing game more, boggles my mind Getsy doesn’t use him but once a game of that. Monty in the open field is dangerous. Nope, let’s just run him up the middle where nobody is winning 🤬 He still gets 2-6 yards with no hole lol. Herbert is also horrendous at pass blocking, something we can’t afford from our RB right now. They need to bring Monty back next year but they won’t.
He overthrew a wide open TE in the endzone.
@Nautilus1972 the TE looked lik3 a brick wall running if you’re a TE in the nfl you have to catch the ball go back and watch the play.

Ngl I’m a niners fan and when y’all beat us I was heated, the bears are hot garbage rn and need to build around fields, get this dude an o-line and some receivers for gods sake. He’s bound to be a superstar. Smart phenomenal athlete and does not take losing lightly. I hope the bears turn it around hopefully mid season but it may be another year or two until they’re great again. This dude is the guy for sure.

Thank you for seeing the potential in this man. So many people blindly hate on him for no reason. Not understanding its only his 2nd year, and change is happening around him. Like you said, it’s gonna be another few years until they get it.

I’m not sure where Fields is gonna go in his career. It’s hard to ever see him becoming an average QB let alone elite QB someday. Bears are awful but he has his problems he has to work out as well. Run first, one read QB thus far.
Ummm.. one read? What film are you watching/ RARELY does this kid not go through his progressions. And before you ask, I have every copy of the All-22s and the condensed games. This kid isn’t GOING TO be special, he IS special. Just HOW special he becomes comes down to what sort of talent they surround him with and his continued commitment to growth.
@Edward Rhymes Didn’t look like that last night for sure. Drops were not on him obviously but I saw him drop his eyes several times. He’s got a lot to work on.
The times he looked. to run, was when the pocket began to collapse around him. I’ve never seen a quarterback – not Brady, not Peyton, not Brees, not Rodgers etc. – do well with A gap pressure in their faces. Not one. BTW, the shoulda-been touchdown catch to Mooney, he was the FIFTH read on that play.
As a Vikings fan, I always watched Ohio State to watch Fields play, I wanted the Vikes to draft him. He has flashes of a great NFL QB but think they should run more RPO like the Eagles. He is getting beat up like David Carr did.
Just remember we have by far the most cap space in the league next year. This was predicted by everyone who’s job is to analyze football.
Glad to see he’s pissed off. Glad to see he’s saying EVERYBODY needs to finish catch the ball make your blocks just finish plays. That’s what we need from Justin. He needs to put his guys on notice that he’s over it and they should be too
Man I feel for the whole squad but especially this man. That D-line enforced their will all game and give it to em, they have like 2, 3 or 4 all star defensive lineman. It hurt for sure and the score doesn’t show it but offensively we just have to punch it in there. I’m proud to be a bears fan we didn’t lay down, very aggressive to get 6 instead of 3 and personally I loved it.
At this point, I just want this kid to be healthy by the end of the season
I hope that Ryan Poles feels the same (but, I’m not so sure).

Honestly that last play he had Monty wide open I know it’s not his fault he wanted to go with another player but good effort by Mooney hopefully next year it would be the real deal don’t know any big names that are coming to free agency next year but they should Target some of the wide receivers beef up the defense o-line maybe a few linebackers something
He had Monty wide open on two plays for the touchdown and went away from him. One thing we know if game on the line Monty getting in.
There’s potential in this team srsly.. three straight games decided by the final play. Next year will probably be the year. Lots of cap space and maybe a few first round picks
