Gods World

Wow! Your foot work is scary good, The pass to Isaiah Coulter was money, and The one over the top of the defender to the right, sweet.
Aron who, your in good hands son. 😇 God bless, Be you.

JF1Bears4Ever

After that DISASTER last season, Fields got payback. 3 td passes in half the game is great. I’ve missed seeing this type of offense a lot. All the haters, even former players and coaches said we had no chance, but look what happened!! LMAO. 🐻👇🏻😎

    Thomas Gena

@Ogthotspotter No man, that’s my coach!
We love you, Matt! No one can stymie a drive in the red zone like you!

    Thomas Gena

    @SheffRudyTKE Yeah?
When does JF1 pay Coach Nagy back for making him the up-and-coming QB he is today, (by never letting Justin practice with the starters, last preseason)?
That’s what makes Matt Nagy the best “Bald-Headed Boy Genius” in the NFL.

    Ogthotspotter

@Thomas Gena your a quarterback for the chiefs? Cause he’s a qb coach for the chiefs now

    Thomas Gena

@Ogthotspotter He actually just helps Patrick Mahomes with his “Jake from State Farm” scripts; and delivers free, warm cheeseburgers to Andy Reid — but yeah, you’re right: he a “QB coach.”

    JF1Bears4Ever

@Matt Nagy Look at this offensive guru making excuses that nobody cares about 🤣

    Gary Crook

    In Fields We Trust
    Go Bears!😎

Phil Norman

Looking forward to his post game comments after beating the Packers up and down the field.

    James Jackson

He’s a professional. He’ll never boast. But I can’t wait either! It will bring mad confidence when he shuts Aaron down.

Fixin Dan

More important than his stats tonight is Fields showed he can make plays if he’s given adequate time to make plays. So even if the offense struggles this coming season, I feel good about building around Fields through 2023 draft and free agency. For better part of last season I couldn’t tell if the problem was Fields, or his supporting cast and coaching staff. At least I’m having some clarity that Fields is a guy we can build a solid offense around and win with even if this offense struggles.

    Fixin Dan

@Jim George nobody would’ve succeed behind the 2021 Bears OLine, I know that, but it wasn’t clear to me what Fields would be able to do if he didn’t have to constantly run for his life. It’s like putting a NASCAR driver in a Yaris (no disrespect to people driving Yaris), it’s hard to evaluate how good the driver is because the vehicle is so prohibiting. Tonight seeing what Fields can do with just a decent amount of protection and good play calling is like putting that driver in a real race car, it allows for a actual evaluation.

What I fear the most after our draft was Fields running for his life again in 2022 and not given an opportunity to be successful since Poles did not get him OLine help until day 3. Then come 2023 draft we won’t know if we should build around Fields or get his replacement.

    Jim George

@Fixin Dan if this line holds up, fields will dominate this yr. Like I said, I never doubted fields, always knew it was the line.

    Connor Muckerman

You couldn’t tell that Matt Nagy was a problem???

    Jim George

@Connor Muckerman I blame Nagy less then I don’t he talent. We had a horrible offensive line and you can have God as your head coach. If your offensive line stinks and can’t protect the qb , then no matter what offensive scheme you play your offense is going to stink.

    Fixin Dan

@Connor Muckerman of course I knew Nagy was the problem, but that doesn’t mean he’s the only problem, and everybody else struggled because of him. Kmet somewhat struggled because of Nagy, but the OLine struggled because they flat out stink. What this regime needs to do is figure out who struggled because of Nagy and who struggled because they just can’t play. Fields is considered a bust around the league among coaches, general managers, and the media, and I’ve had my doubts after last year as well. But this camp and preseason showed me that Fields’ struggles were all on Nagy and that he can actually play when given the opportunity to succeed.

Joe Odonnell

He seems so confident in the pocket compared to last year. Even if we’re not that good this year I think he’ll be alright in the long run, but he’s got a long road ahead.

    Mike Thompson

    That’s with every rookie

zo

I love you Justin! So excited for this season 🙏

Anthony Jefferson

Finally we got a future QB and future coaching staff..Chi town we made it

Defender Of Logic

His ability to recall routes and situations is scary good.

Shannon Greene

He really doesn’t suffer the media corny stuff. I truly like that about the kid.

Peter Bruno

I like how he sounds exactly the same after a good game as he does after a bad one.

    MamaMielke

I think the man just hates doing press lmao

MarcoGlo

Love this kid for our team! Great plays tonight

Just Browsing

See? This is what Fields can do when the pocket holds and gives him more than a nanosecond! Great game overall! 🐻⬇️

    Thomas Gena

And that’s why the OL of Braxton, Cody, Sam, Teven and Larry should have been in there from the start.
Ryan Poles underestimated Mustipher, Jenkins and Borom. But that’s okay: Eberflus and Morgan will start the “five best guys.”
And, if Poles was “right” on Lucas Patrick — the OL will be even better in the future.

Jonathan B

It’s amazing what can happen with a good coaching staff, an offense built around the QB and discipline.

AC180

If Justin decides to stay after his rookie contract he will bring a super bowl to Chicago one day. no doubt in my mind.
