I think the game plan was to run more to eat time off the clock and keep Aaron off the field. But that only works if you can get first downs not three and out!

Getsy called more throwing plays for Aaron than Justin. At some point you gotta unleash the beast. It was a couple of run plays where I thought it would be a fake but it was another run play. Credit to the run game because we had over 180 Yards rushing, but we have to have a Balance. This game was a throw away

7 completions for 70 yards. Your best receiver had 1 reception for -4 yards. Absolutely no excuse. Terrible play calling by the Bears. I drafted A.Rob 3rd round last year.. huge disappointment. I drafted Mooney 6th round this year.. wtf!

@hgr Official Mooney was 11th last year in target’s with 140. He finished with 1055 receiving yards. Not bad for a 2nd year player. No excuse for the Bears to let him have 1 reception for -4 yards. I live 1 hour from Buffalo. Definitely not a Bears fan.

I like to know where was Luke Getsy? Only 11 offensive play calls. Field’s and this offense were hung out to dry in this game. The coaches failed in this game. Did not utilize all our players. This team is lacking weapons and coaches did not find ways to win or have a close game. Which dissapoints me the most in this loss. The officiating played favors as usual that was a Bears JF TD taken from Bears. I felt cheating in this game period. Now this Bears team lost trust in Gesty and the rest of this coaching staff. This betrayal no accountability by coaching staff that you are so called preaching to the players.
You guys keep saying he only called 11 pass plays. He called about 20 but Fields got sacked 3 times and ran 8 times.
I’d like to know when the hell they’re gonna invest in an o-line…

From watching lovie smith to fox to Nagy to this new era, the offense is seamlessly the same every year. Kind of disappointing. Like literally the offenses playbook, it looks basically the same for the past decade. Run plays and then same old sad pass plays. The we go play action, which is our “strength” to move down the field but that’s a hit or miss most of the time.
The losingnest franchises since 1990: Lions, Jets, Bears, Commanders, Cowboys — So for me this is more of the same.
I think the coaches don’t trust his ability to throw. The offense plays scared. I’m not sure if this is because of the O-Line, pass catchers not getting any separation, or maybe Fields himself. Either way, this year is a rebuild and expectations are low, but Fields needs to show that he’s the guy at QB.
Right now I think it’s def the oline. The game against 49rs they struggled and couldn’t get in good rhythm bcuz of it. Justin still doesn’t look 100% comfortable inside the pocket either and holds it too long at times but its only second game with this young oline group

Love Justin Fields. Buckeye Nation loves and respects Justin. You got to get him a couple big time receivers. Don’t wait, tomorrow is today. You must get him any of the Ohio State receivers in the draft next year. They are ready and familiar with him. It will help the Bears team. Just as the Bengals did with Burrow and Chase. The bears know they dont have any receivers that can get separation from a good defense, which is why they ran the ball most of the game, and we’ve yet to see velus jones.
