there were still slaves after Juneteenth…this is a Texas holiday
That is why we celebrate Juneteeth. Because the Texas slaves did not hear about their emancipation until a year later!!!
As I walk through Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Mo, I see all Pride flags, but nothing for Juneteenth. And who really was oppressed, and I mean physically oppressed? Who really had to fight for their rights?! This lost generation😑.
And this is coming from a Mexican that has been in prison where there is alot of racial, in your face conflict. But I’m not blind. Where’s the Equal rights.
