    Last year was his “breakout” year, setting a Seahawk single season record for tackles. What is a breakout year to you? Shattering the single season NFL record? Newsflash: Hawks released a Hall Of Fame MLB in Bobby Wagner BECAUSE they watched Jordyn Brooks make 184 tackles, a franchise record. Make no mistake, Wagner was a Cap Casualty, but the stellar play of Brooks was the catalyst for this decision. He is now the leader of our defense. He won’t be breaking out this season, but he will be breaking some unfortunate offensive players as he adds another chapter to his budding legacy. With all do respect to Bobby Wagner, Brooks setting the tackle season record previously held by Wagner told Hawk coaches they could move on from a true legend. Now that is a breakout season! His 20 tackles against Arizona to pass the injured Wagner in the season finale put a cherry on top of his coming out party.
