I still don’t understand why and how Jordan Poyer is not in the Pro Bowl. This man is amazing.
it’s because they take votes away from each other, but i’d argue Poyer is the best in the league and Hyde is top 5, maybe even top 2.
So JP and Micah Hyde can have chip on their shoulders in the playoffs and make jaws drop!

@S B 1982 i agree, but i also think you are underselling the talent our team had in prior years. if you look back i don’t think our team was the problem in any given year, the issue was either coaching or not maintaining our talent and signing players long term. that chain broke after Ralf had passed, and we let Rex go.
@Trazz I completely agree, the coaching tended to be probably the biggest issue as we saw coaches either not using the talent they had effectively or running schemes that didn’t fit them well.
If we go back to 2014 when Terry bought the team. The defense as you pointed out was top tier. Problem was Marrone and Hackett didn’t run a very effective offense per what they had. I think Kyle Orton was the best QB the team had in between the time of Drew Bledsoe and Josh Allen, wished he had stuck around.
@S B 1982 you’re right, could probably even argue the best QB was Trent Edwards, and many people point to his head injuries where his career went downhill, it’s just as likely his good habits were coached out of him. looking back, all that heartache seems unnecessary.
@S B 1982 7-9, 8-8, 9-7 is the definition of purgatory, you’ll miss the playoffs constantly and never get any top picks, most teams that have one or two seasons in 2-14 hell, get top picks that turn around the teams, just like the Bengals did, just like the Cardinals did. Not every team is the Jaguars, Jets, or Lions that take top picks and ruin them. During the drought, the Bills were constantly stuck in purgatory, with no top picks. While 7-9 hurts less than 2-14, you risk staying in that range for a while, ask Adam Gase in Miami.

I think we will see alot of guys stick around and choose to stay here even if it doesn’t lead to a slightly bigger contract just because they all love it here and will be making Superbowl runs for years to come.

Whats truly scary? That this is only a beginning. This team, will just get better, and better, and better. Do we go to the Superbowl this year? Very possible. 2:50 He’s right though. My whole extended family bought Bills Jerseys and I’m the only one who picked Poyer. He and Hyde were the ones keeping the Bills in the game in 2017 and 2018 when their defensive line was still struggling and they don’t get enough recognition for that. Poyer and now also Knox are the two of the most underrated players in the league.
