Rob wrote an article after the Cards game noting that slow starts and penalties cost them the game…. he could have reprinted it for the Niners game and just changed the names. And those problems are about both execution and coaching. Kellen no longer looks like Kid Genius, and Q is probably hoping that doesn’t rub off on him with other teams.

Otis Campbell

We need this group together more often !!!!

    McGiggles

Agreed. I really enjoyed the conflict. A lot of different opinions with well presented facts.

    Six 47

For sure an allstar cast. Literally my favorite person from every show.

THEY HAVE TO DO THIS WEEKLY!!!

Coop should always be featured. No DC wants to see him heavily involved because he dictates coverage by consistently creating separation vs 90% of the CB’s he faces in man or zone. Cooper & Gallup are your staples, and CeeDee is somewhere in between, yet different, in terms of ability & impact. The fear of 3x 1000 yard WR’s is real, but ONLY if you’re running the football while targeting Cooper regularly. This offense is unstoppable when it’s balanced, but the vacuum created by losing Leary + moving his Pro Bowl backup to fill the RT vacancy. Collins struggled from 2017 to late-mid 2018, missed 2020b and missed the start of 2021. His return was a disruption to the continuity of the O-line, followed by Connor for Connor for Connor, Tyron, and no expected starting O-line until the Cardinals game all happened. Dak can’t count on having a pocket to step into with Williams & Tyler as anchors. Dallas gets everyone’s best shot almost weekly, and those two weaknesses are gaping wounds against top talent or power or explosion. It’s always a roll of the dice because they’re woefully inadequate for a stable and functionally effective O-line. Leary/La’el hole was the beginning of Zeke’s miraculous decline, despite the fact he lost 2 pro bowl LG’s and starting RT…then, must unfortunately, Travis happened. That’s 2 constant leaks that you can count on to spill heavily on almost EVERY drive. Fix the O-line, get a TE who can actually block, and fill out some spots. Injured Zeke behind deteriorated O-line was bound to happen. He entered the league running behind the ABSOLUTE best O-line in football, so his decline has followed his O-line’s… and Dak has had to throw to compete.

    Psycho Mind

No one is scared of Coop. He’s dangerous at home but until this year he was always MIA on the road.

    Rodney's Next Chapter

@Psycho Mind that was just a coincidence last year and as you said it was fixed this year.
Guarantee you there are many people scared of coop , just not the top 10% of cornerbacks like the man already said

    Rodney's Next Chapter

The O-Line is a huge issue

This was a good show. Stanback and McCray are absolutely right about Dak being able/capable/allowed to check at the line to quick pass for an easy 5-10 yds on soft coverage (cover 3 or cover 4) And if you a dynamic player like 88 and 19 they turn those into 20-30 yards

    Money Marcus

But that the point…. When DAK was making the calls they were moving the ball and scoring points. After week 7 he just stop doing that for some reason

    David J Lee

Totally agree. Isiah and Danny were on point calling out Kellen. He can’t make the easy and so obvious adjustments! He’s become a clear hindrance to this team. He’s gotta go.
And Mickey drives me nuts with his idiotic takes but he helps flush out a lot of good points from the rest of the crew.

Michael H

I want to know one thing. Was Kellen Moore forced on McCarthy and did he have the Jason Garrett deal ( Wade Phillips)? …If was then all criticism should be directed solely to the Jones.. if Kellen Moire comes back next year in that same capacity then shame on McCarthy…

    Kristen Jackson

Kellen Moore was forced on McCarthy. McCarthy was allowed to pick all of his coaching staff his first season except for Kellen.

What a crew for today show

Vid The Visionary

Damn that was a good show!

The source of the problem in Dallas starts with Jerry Jones. He is the common denominator in this for the las 2 decades. He gives these coaches no real control of this team. Started with Jimmy Johnson and it hasn’t stopped. Who the hell fires a back to back SuperBowl winning coach? Jerry’s ego that’s who. Jerry wants the credit, period! Jerry really thinks he is the mastermind behind it all. Now Jerry will give you the players, but he won’t let you do what you need to do to make the team successful. If he keeps going down this road he will probably die without ever seeing this team in the Superbowl again. Those are the hard facts.

I don’t rewatch podcasts usually. But I’m running this one back. Good stuff fellas. 👏🏽

Whip Tech

Thank you Danny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mike needs to do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whip Tech

Every bit of the foundation and structure of great players Parcells brought in was unwound when Jerry paid Jason Garrett to stay, and Wade was undercut. It’s been same old same old ever since. Seems like it’s happening with Kellen and Mike.

“Bamboozled, hoodwinked, run-a-muck, led astray….” Is a great quote, excellent movie Isaiah.🔥

Charles Blount

I love Mick keeping these guys accountable. Great discussions.

Big Red TLC

Great lively discussion. The alpha males from each separate show getting together is fun to watch. Thx.

Nathan Smith

In the first game against Tampa it’s the two missed FGs that was the real difference in the game…we only lost by two points. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Anthony D. Jackson, Jr.

You guys have a good chemistry together.

Amando Alvarez 3

One of the best podcasts episode this year! This cross over was perfect! Would love to make them keep this crew together or make a new crew show with this group hands down really really good!

BOOOTNEYFUNZWORTH69

Mick dont wanna see that the Cowboys are full of predictability. He’s representative of the same ego that the Cowboys show, a lack of self awareness. Mick is saying the Cowboys almost beat Tampa Bay so thats representative of their ability to play well, but that was Week ONE. The Cowboys had the league on their heels until Denver came to town and EXPOSED them. Mick does it all the time on his talk show, thats why i don’t listen to his show anymore. Whenever a caller makes a criticism of the Cowboys, he immediately shoots it down- his ego is too big to think that he can learn and yet here we are, one and done and he’s still defending this team and their mediocre QB.
