I wasn’t calling for Joe Woods to be fired, and neither was Quincy Carter or G Bush. So, not “every Browns fan.” Dude, with all due respect to your opinion, YES, JJ did get burned deep a lot, but to be fair, Baker threw 13 interceptions in 14 games played and had the 27th worst QBR in the league last year. ALSO, 2020 Pro Bowlers Denzel Ward, Miles Garrett, Nick Chubb, Wyatt Teller and Joel Bitonio were in that playoff game with Baker. He didn’t win that game all by himself…ijs.

Nelson, III thank you lol people really like to forget all the people we have on this team if anything baker was always the weak link every time we didn’t live up to expectations i got love for baker but he just always comes up short or doesn’t show up at all and people give him too much credit

@ShaLaFlame Yo! TOTALLY agree with you!! I was the BIGGEST Mayfield defender…until I just coulnd’t do it any more. Game after game he would never be able to perform at an elite level in clutch moments…smh. After a while, I just couldn’t keep making excuses for his poor play on the field.

Not to mention, Baker is an immature kid and that’s a big reason why he “lost the locker room.” It’s one thing if you have Aaron Rodgers with a very cocky attitude, Baker simply has not earned that yet. I did not want Joe Woods fired. One has to have the understanding that the unit is going to need time to develop.

@scott zappa EXACTLY!! Joe Woods was literally given a whole new defensive unit that previous off-season. But by the end of the year, he transformed them into the 5th best defensive unit in the NFL. And NOW that 9 starters are returning this year, as well as depth at almost every positiin except defensive tacle, I’m excites about the defense this year regardles of whether or not Watson plays! My ONE REGRET though is that wr don’t get to see Perrion Winfrey lining up next to Malik McDowell as our two interior defensive tackles!!

Even if it’s the season which everyone and the media are pushing, we’ll be fine. Run game will lead us this year with a dose of the pass and next year DeShaun will hit the ground running!
