We have way too much skill for it to be hindered by the coaching like this. That’s another level of bad coaching that just bottlenecks the progress. You are either a coach that leads and guides or you sit back and ride the success of others with no practical involvement 🤌

Watch the 4th qtr drives again he has Kyle Hamilton jaylon Davis and Pepe Williams 3 rookies playing Humphrey and peters were on pitch count. Peters first game back.Yes we have veterans too but one player is in wrong position that’s all it takes

@akayungwildnigga why did we give up those points? I know why we lost it was not just one thing. To many quick scores ment our defense spent way to much time on the field. Easy to run away from i guy who is gassed. Injuries to the secondary are why they had to play so many snaps. We lost one for the year one for a few weeks and had one guy playing with a groin injury and the other his first game in a year. Both did damn good considering that. As for the safeties same issue Williams balled till he was gassed he was over peters on the 60 yard score. We had three pass rushers and lost one in game Houston is to old to play that many snaps. Oweh gets doubled all game. When Bowser and Ojobo come back we will have a pass rush in the second half again. Blaming the coaches or drafting for this loss is lazy and uneducated. I didn’t call out anyone person specifically. Yet as a fan from day one way back when we sucked for years i do see way to many bandwagon and fantasy fans. Hell during the game in the stands there were four people who were on their phones the whole time worried about their fantasy team over the game.
@william adams I’m sick of the excuses! The Ravens aren’t the only team with injuries. Giving up almost 500 yards and 6 passing touchdowns is not acceptable!!! Joe Flacco threw for 300 yards last week. What was the excuse then? The secondary was terrible last year too. Even before Humphrey got hurt. This issue is deeper than just being tired. This issue MUST be resolved NOW! This team has playoff aspirations. Could you imagine the numbers Mahomes would have put up yesterday against this defense?
@akayungwildniggayour right what woukd you do? Who you bringing in to fix it? What corners since ours are butt. Are you keeping Williams? Tell me who your bringing in who can play 80 snaps and not make any mistakes and not be tired. You are the coach what do we do?
@akayungwildnigga Remember you must replace two starting Pro bowl Caliber cover corners the starter and his Spell then the back up or third string guy.
As a Ravens fan, I’m starting to believe that we have a similar fanbase as the Pittsburgh Steelers. When we win, we’re going to the Super Bowl, no matter how ugly or well we played. When we lose, everyone needs to be fired, this team sucks, and we need to tank for the draft. We may have a huge rivalry with the Steelers but in a lot of way our fanbases are alike.

@Mr fantastic 2300 This would get plenty of people fired but not in Ravens Country. We dealt with Brian Billick and his never-ending QB carousel in the 2000s, and we’re likely dealing with this as well.
No, The issue is when the SAME problems keep showing up over and over again not just in a season, but for YEARS.
The absolute refusal to make adjustments when something isn’t working or vice versa not going with what is working and reverting to what isnt because of some stupid ego/pride driven need to be a “run first team”.
It’s because it’s the defense. When all else failed there was always defense and this one didn’t make sense what so ever.
Defense Coordinators change and the same problems year in and year out…
it’s week 2 in a completely new defensive scheme against the fastest team in the league… give it some time

If your going to go for it maybe try not running the same play 5 times in a row when it keeps failing. Just like 2pt conversions we always run the same play.

The look on johns face in the thumbnail is Comforting. I hope he realizes that the only reason he has a job in baltimore is because of Lamar. The coaches lost us the game yesterday. Pay lamar or get ready to find another QB who will fill in his shoes the right way. But letting lamar go will be the biggest mistake this organization will ever make .

This was one of toughest regular season losses I can remember. Steelers game in 97 when Kordell went wild was the other one on top of my head.
You NEVER leave points on the field….Football 101……we could have used those giveaways instead of failing at fourth and one, a few times.
John Harbaugh, just like you put so much emphasis on ball control and benching players for fumbles use that same energy to make sure your guys are ready for competition out there. WE PLAY 4 QUARTERS NOT 2 QUARTERS!!
All we kept hearing since 2019 Lamar needs to get better at this Lamar needs to get better at that guess what he did it what did the coaches get better at not a damn thing

3 major weaknesses. Run game, Secondary and pass rush
I think the run game will improve game by game, especially with Dobbins and Gus coming back.
I think our secondary is elite. Kyle Hamilton had some major mistakes this game and he will improve slowly each game.
The pass rush worries me. I dont see where we grow there. Unless Oweh can step up and develop some better technique. I got faith and I hope the boys up front can improve but I am certain the other two weaknesses will.
All in all were in for an optimistic season. Especially with lamar looking like perfection.
Im not a huge Gro fan but he called a great game. Definitely some goal line struggles but thats a nitpick if were looking at the full picture. This one was not on him.
