I agree with the call, great play design. Throw was off by a few inches and that cost us the game. Cant be afraid to say that Lamar hasnt been shooting well these past few weeks.

Very good point, lamar is our man but he’s definitely been off his most recent games. Missed throws were common for him this game

Could he have placed the ball better yes, was the throw off, no. The ball went where it needed to be which was Andrews hands.

It gave me feelings of the watchmen tv show when Dr. Manhattan said “this is the moment I fell in love with you.” I always knew I loved the ravens but this is why!

I agree with you that we do better when we use more ‘no huddle’ drives. But hey, where was god when Harbaugh makes him so much of the reason why we win? In a way, I’m glad we lost. We deserved it. And at least Harbaugh will keep his god out of the locker room for awhile.
I agree. I’ve been saying this dating back to the Joe Flacco days. We keep defenses reeling and on their toes whenever we go uptempo / no huddle.

@Kazine Kelly Yes, in a way. I’ve never stopped being angry at Harbaugh for supporting Lamar’s decision to NOT get vaccinated. I like that Harbaugh supports Lamar, but not where Lamar has made a very foolish decision. Furthermore, I hated the last locker room talk after we beat the Browns when Harbaugh said that belief in his god was one of the main reasons we had been winning games. His god has NOTHING to do with our wins and losses. Harbaugh needs to grow up. I’m sleepy now (it’s past 3 in the morning) so I’m going to bed. Goodnight.

The two point conversions miss was on Andrews.
He stopped running and started to stop like he was trying to find the soft spot in a zone.
The play design intentionally left TJ as a free runner so Andrews has to know that he needs to get to the far side of Watt for the play to have a chance.
If Andrews keeps running and doesn’t slow
down, the ball is perfect, the game is won, and the narrative is different.
Yeah, I agree. It wasn’t a perfect pass, but it was still a catchable ball.

Me, personally, I wouldn’t have gone for it, but I understand why he did it. We had given up 150+ yards during the fourth quarter alone. We probably had the same percentage chance of making the two-point conversion as we did of winning the game in overtime. Since we were out of corners, then I can’t really blame Harbaugh for going for it. Averett was awful again.
You dont owe us an explanation coach, we absolutely love it. That go-big-or-go-home mentality is why we even have a winning record this season with so many injuries.

Its awesome when you make the 2 pointer and hurts alot when you don’t and this is a prime example. I get why they did that but I hated the play call but im not in charge of these things.
Haha we’ve danced on the line so many games this season and unfortunately this one wasn’t the fairy tale ending. Congratulations Steelers. The call was made to go for it and as a fan I back the boys to get it but sadly the execution wasn’t there.
8-4, into Cleveland let’s make it there healthy and prepared for that 9 fellas!

I think we need to change our defensive scheme, we need to stop with all the exotic cover 0 blitzes (we rarely get home on them and we’ve been TORCHED on them all year mostly) we need to let our pass rushers get after the QB, forget trying have them drop back in coverage half the game. let them hunt, period. Our safety shouldn’t have a combined 6 sacks. That’s just asking to get beat in the backend. We don’t have a Ed Reed back there anymore to cover that up. We need to do what New England does on defense. We’ve given up so many big plays and 4th quarter points this year its embarrassing. And NOBODY on the defense besides Peters can pick the ball off. We had like 3 dropped INTs last night. Something has to change up this offseason. On offense too, John seems stuck in his ways and he has to get out out of that. I loved the 2 point decision. We just got torched all 4th quarter long no shot I would of put the defense out on the field again. Teams burn us when we run cover 0, but we can’t beat ANYONE that runs cover 0 on us. They’ve been outcoached for a month straight now. If Chicago doesn’t pull an us and blow coverage on Sammy we lose that game, and if we throw 4 picks against anyone but Cleveland we lose. This team has won off of Lamars crazy play making ability. We can’t expect him to do that every week. It looks like that’s what the coaches are banking on. I mean call plays like every series is the last drive in the 4th quarter. Cause that’s the only time they can consistently move the ball down field.

Sometimes I do wish Lamar would throw the ball away instead of taking so many sacks and unnecessary hits, because no one wants to see him get hurt!!!!
Lamar is such a key player, and we’d like to keep him around a lot longer!!
