LeVar Lewis

No one that’s gonna be on the 53 man roster should be playing preseason games. Seriously

    LeVar Lewis

@micheal olusanya that’s what got dobbins hurt

    ThePhoenix

for real. only the guys coming back from injury should play if they are capable, to shake off the rust.

    revivefinite

I’m with you. I used to believe that starters should get some reps in preseason but that’s out of the question now.

    micheal olusanya

@LeVar Lewis last year was a freak accident they havent played in more than a year. Their first in game reps are going to be an actual game in the middle if the season or a pre season game to get their legs back?

    DJ GB (GARY BROWN)

They should get all walk ons to play preseason. I mean the injuries last season starting in camp was ridiculous. Hell I’ll walk on a play to save someone for the season. I think I have a few downs left in me. Who’s with me??????

king shark

How bout some camp highlights, geez you telling me passing, catching, running and drills are not for public consumption. Just give some clips put some music over the coaching calls, but geez we got nothing from mini camp.

    Uncle Fido

Actually there was that story calling out the ridiculousness of not playing Ty’son Williams and that was the last time I’ve seen him post anything from Ebony Bird!

    king shark

@Uncle Fido … we do have a secret squirrel approach to the team under Harbaugh

Texas Man94

Another season of him saying “we believe in our guys” and “we just have to move on to the next game”

    king shark

@nikeguy2 …. man nike2, these hollow eye socket fans, are something else. U have to be blind to defend a guy who won just one sb, on the backs of atleast 4 hall of famere, a decade ago. Has only 1 playoff victory in like the last 8yrs.

    king shark

@nikeguy2 … lol you using some shadow ban trigger words. Lol.

Hmmm replace him with, the coach from ohio st. , a sean mcvay coaching tree hot rising star, a nice out of left fielder, would be Minnesota’s head coach, it’s new innovative offensive minded coaches that could take this team over the hump. But hump is like a divisional playoff game atleast. We only have one playoff victory in 8 something yrs. We not even at the hump, with jh’gump

    nikeguy2

@king shark 😆 I can’t watch this dude grift anymore.

Nobody wants to take a risk on a coach. It’s like they either want Bill Bellichick or nobody else 😆. They don’t even care about the offense they’re cool with just making the playoffs. Rub!

No wonder Lamar is ducking the new contract lol they can’t even guarantee him a solid coordinator

    Damurdaflock

@nikeguy2 😂😂 you dont know much about football.

Kuya Rick Kelley

Lamar: “I’ll do anything to win a super bowl”

Also Lamar: “except get a vaccine, sign my extension, show up to OTAs…”

    matrixphijr

@Angela Hester No, he’s not vaccinated, but kudos for lying to everybody.

    Trucker_Tucker

And this from someone who could never ever play a snap? 🤣🤣🤣🤣

    Kuya Rick Kelley

@matrixphijr people don’t like the truth around here. If Lamar backed up his talk, he would be at OTAs

    Kuya Rick Kelley

@Nate55Dogg no. But if he did it would back up his claim that he wants to be a champion

Max-Q

Everyone is questioning Lamar’s presence as they have the right to do. But Lamar just lost his best friend on the team, doesn’t seem the least bit interested in a long term contract with the Ravens and has slowly shown his inattention to team activities. To me the Ravens and Lamar are both not sure about this relationship and this year will tell. If they get a super bowl or close then I think they make a deal, if they have a year like last I think they will have a break up and go their own way. Just not sure since the MVP Lamar’s head has swelled so much it is making it hard to carry his weight.

    nikeguy2

@Szn I would trade Lamar Jackson for Trevor Lawrence in a heartbeat. Mr. Shad Khan doesn’t care about winning a superbowl, he’s a business man and Lamar Jackson is a business. Getting Lawrence will give us 3-4 years with a CHEAP possibly elite pocket passer/dual threat, rather than paying Lamar 45m+ a season. At least we could get Trevor a Deebo Samuels or DK Metcalf to pair with Bateman with the money we’d save.

Let Lamar stay in Florida and fleece the Jaguars.

    Szn

Sounds good on paper but Trevor isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Jaguars have had a franchise issue with QBs for decades and Trevor is potentially the answer to that. Not to mention he’s a first overall pick and the city has already rallied behind him.

I personally think the New York market, specifically Giants would LOVE to have Lamar Jackson. A new exciting swaggy, dangerously mobile QB who has way more upside than Daniel Jones and will put butts in the stadium. Who knows, under Daboll and with offensive weapons like Barkeley and Toney and Golladay, Giants could become a 10-7/11-6 team

    nikeguy2

@Szn Honestly, it depends on how desperate Shad Khan is. Lawrence is going to need development and weapons… Jacksonville has always been terrible at both of those. I agree with them being QB desperate, which is why I feel Lamar is a perfect offer. You immediately get an Elite winner who sells tickets. Lamar is from Boyton/Pompano. For a team owner, money is more important than wins lol. Lamar Jackson owns the entire state of Florida, Trevor would be an after thought. I agree and believe we would not get anything else in return since Lawrence was drafted so high. It would be player for player. But Lamar’s jersey would immediately sell out and Jaguar games would be finally packed.

I agree with you on the New York market but me and you need to be honest with each other. They’re going to be very harsh on a minority QB and he’s going to be subject to a lot of abuse from New Yorkers. Everyone in America knows those fans in NY and Philly will call you every name in the book when they lose lol.

It’s also not a lucrative market for Lamar, that would only benefit the team owners bottom line. Lamar’s born and raised in Florida; the entire state including me would drive to Jacksonville to see him lol. Going to New York does nothing for Lamar financially but get him a contract and force him to pay some high taxes.

Jacksonville would also relax taxes on Lamar’s gigantic future contract. The Giant’s also have nothing to compensate us with, we don’t want Daniel Jones. It’s a one sided exchange.

    Szn

You make some good points. Maybe New York and LJ don’t mix lol but I think Trevor is Shad’s golden goose egg. Worst case scenario, through Trevor’s first 3 nfl years he fails to go above .500, they don’t go for his fifth year option and draft his replacement in 2024 or sign a bridge QB with experience around that time(maybe a Goff, Cousins, or Wentz will be available around this time depending on the draft market for QBs) and be done with him. But Trevor’s jersey has been selling like hot cakes. The fandom is in love and rallying around him. This equates to more ticket sales. Shad is rolling in dough. He can string Trevor along for a good 3-4 years too

Best case(which is a long shot) Trevor manages maybe 8 or 9 wins this year and wins the fandom over some more. Lamar will be a free agent if ravens don’t perform and jags won’t even be an option for him. But…BUT…what other team could be wanting Lamar that happens to be in Florida as well next year? The Bucs. I think Brady will be done with nfl or Bucs next year so this will be a fortune grab for Bucs but this scenario of mine(which I admit is batshit crazy) only works if A)Ravens fall short and Lamar doesn’t meet expectations hence no extension and falls out with the front office and B)Trevor shows massive improvement this season with new coaches and actual weapons

    nikeguy2

@Szn I’m going to be honest with you, Mr. Khan doesn’t care about Trevor Lawrence. That guy probably doesn’t even watch football lol. The Jaguars are a dollar sign to him, that’s why they had the Klownout and the fans tried to revolt and force him to sell…

Football’s a team sport, Trevor’s record for the next 3 years is irrelevant. Even a prime Peyton Manning would struggle on that team.

You’re equating team wins to talent, they have no relation. There are 22 starters on both sides of the ball and Trevor has only been there a year. If you’re drafted number one, you’re on the worst team in the NFL.

Nobody in Jacksonville is raving over Trevor, the team sucks and Urban Meyer just made it all worse. Just because people like Trevor’s hair doesn’t mean he’s selling tickets. Nobody is paying to go watch losers.

There is no situation where the Ravens part with Lamar, they’re begging him to stay because this team doesn’t have a gigantic fan base or market. Lamar has been the most money this team has seen since Ray and Ed combines.

Steve Bisciotti is very cheap. Anything he signs or drafts will fail after Lamar leaves because this system is built for his legs and agility. Any pocket QB would’ve been in a graveyard last season with our offensive line.

Lamar also has two franchise tag seasons that we can exercise and force him to stay, so you can hang up free agency lol. His marketability makes him worth whatever the tag is. They also already offered him an extension…

You’ve got a few bad sources or you’re not a ravens fan lol you should know Lamar will never be a free agent, not for at least 7 years.

Erb Jonez

I’ve been very impressed with Brandon Stephens. Doesn’t get talked about a lot but he held his own his rookie year 👍🏽

    Jj Jordan

Same, hope he develops into a pro bowler.

    Jessejames

Yeah I hope Brandon is a starter

    Aidan Wyler

Pro bowl are so far reach but I think he could be a very good player
