Look at Greg Roman history as an Oc. Only capable of scheming up one wr and his scheme as a 2 year shelf. There is a reason why the ravens hired 2 passing game specialist. Dudes a run game coordinator posing as an Oc. And the only reason he got this job because he’s friends with Harbaugh brothers.

@Stephen Coleman you right they say it every year but we have a new WR coach who was hired fairly recently and he has a good track record of developing WRs. We are in May we don’t even play a game until Aug/Sept we will prob still add a WR no need to rush. You probably don’t remember our first super bowl, all we need is a strong defense a running game and Lamar to make a few plays that formula will win us playoff games not the one where we score 30-40 point per game and can’t stop anyone. Lamar isn’t holding out because of a WR either, he’s quietly working and his time will come for the contract plus the more he waits the more he will get. He’s being smart

what about the play calling or lamars obvious innaccuracy as a passer ?

@JPM I honestly don’t see why fans are mad with Greg Roman, we used to be last in the league in offense and with him we’ve been close to top 10 each year, if there’s a better option out there then ok, but there’s not, I do understand that his play calling is way too obvious sometimes but last year we had like half our offense out on injured reserve and the offense wasn’t the problem it was the defense.

You’re absolutely 100% correct, but also don’t underestimate guys like Slade Bolden and Devon Williams (or Tylan Wallace, who didn’t get much in the way of playing time). The coaches already have good things to say about them.
Regardless of who ends up making it, the point you were conveying is that we only need one or two of them to be gems, and there’s a very high likelihood of that with so many options.

for ravens t will be a miracle to get 1 good WR let alone 2, and thats if they can stay healthy. one ankle injury, there on IR or at half speed every game. Going to be a Field day for the opposing teams since they wont need to have anybody deep and can crowd the line of scrimmage to stop read options and put us in 3rd and long so lamar can get sacked and get injured again and there goes another season.

its a disturbing pattern we have had since torrey smith left. which is why we have only 1 playoff win in the last 8 years !!!

@JPM people always saying we don’t need receivers to win since we run the ball all the time… it’s like…. Did you not see our wr personnel when we last won the SB?…. You need elite wrs to win the bowl. It’s been that way not just for us, but every other team who’s recently won the SB.

@John Burke i know boldin smith jones were elite. how can you run the ball effectivly when you have safteys in the box who are not afraid of your WR’s ? nah its the opposite better WR’s help the run game even more and therefore a better offense in whole but eric decosta cant figure it out can you?
