Exactly my thought. The tun worked so well when they went outside run to the left running behind Joel. I didn’t get why they ran that play to the weak side of our O-line. I guess they didn’t want to be predictable, but that doesn’t matter at the end of the day. Just keep doing what works
During the game it was so obvious that they should run to the LEFT side. Why are our coaches so dumb?
It wouldn’t have mattered they knew the run was coming had 8 in the box. A nice play action on 1st would’ve been what I’d have done but I’m not a coach.
