  1. Great weapon to neutralize Kelce in our sub packages especially if Chung needs time to regroup. Also JC and Gilmore could have their hands full going against dynamic Wide out groupings like Odell and Jarvis Landry. Watkins and Hill. Etc

  2. If people are wondering why we picked this guy instead of Greedy Williams. Its because of plays like
    1:26 and 2:25

Bill wants a big corner in the box that can harass those screens, picks, and slip screen to the tightends while also containing the edge. Ala Brandon Browner in the 2014 season where his physicality lead to the biggest play in NFL history with Malcolm Butler intercepting a goal line pass after Browner prevented the pick…

Also awesome Hightower was the one who announced this pick from the Patriots.

  3. hmmmmm… basing from the plays, he looks like a stud in the secondary… I think Pats defense shouldl be more than a force if they want to gain a 7th ring…

  4. Gronk helped change the game of football. The future of the NFL is BIG tightends outjumping defenses in the endzone. Every team will someday NEED a guy like this to help cover the big guys.

  5. JC in the slot, Gilmore and Joejuan on the outside, that’s a lot of length on the field with all of them 6’1 or taller. Now add in another 6’4 DB in Melifonwu to cover TEs or play in the box like a LB, this may be our best secondary of all time

  6. Ritter Kreuz mcCourty is old, Gilmore is 28 in the prime of his career, probably has another solid 4 years left?

  7. And duke Dawson. Then add Bentley and Sam to the LB corps and our back end should be the best we’ve had in a while. Wish we had some more edge rushers but still more draft left and could find a steal somewhere

  8. Brandon Browner wasnt that great for Pats. If Joe Juan doesnt draw as many penalties than ill be happy haha

  9. @Seto Kaiba First of his name Bottle Well I’m talking size factor. This guy looks quicker on his feet than Browner with better ball awareness. Up to him in training camp to improve and get into the Patriots mold for him

  10. zhealthcare the first three words in the original comment are “gronk HELPED change”, how about you focus on your reading comprehension.

  11. TE position was irrelevant before Gronk. It was a declining position. No use like fullback. Then gronk created a mismatch

  12. @JVCKPOT McCourty is also in his 30s, he was talking about guys who will be around for a while, which means a bunch of young guys and Gilmore who is like 27-28

  13. @Casey Colucci how about you actually look up the draft. Undrafted agents have been good and O line especially because of Dante Scharnecia but BBs draft are as underwhelming as they get.

  14. @@Seto Kaiba First of his name Bottle ….Edelman, Gronk, hightower, flowers, collins, chandler, Cannon, White, Sony, Malcolm Mitchell, Devin McCourty. Most years BB trades down to get role players not pro-bowlers or HOF. No coach is perfect he does miss just like any coach/team in the NFL. I would say Pete Carroll is one of the top at drafting pro bowlers

  15. Alumnikiid Pete carrol is top 8 easily going back to 2010. Dorsey and Ballard have done great jobs the last 3 years.

  16. Agreed, the new defensive stopper will be a 6’2″-6’5″ 215lb-235lb guy that can cover and stop TEs up the seam. Ex: Sean Taylor, young Kam Chancellor, etc

  17. Seto Kaiba First of his name Bottle Giants fan and Bill deff drafts well lmfao one first round pick was forfeited another traded for B Cooks and considering always picking 30-32 every year hes great
