The ending of the 49ers/Bengals game in 1987 was the stupidest ending in NFL history. I don’t know what the Bengals were thinking. When you’re up by 6 points with 6 seconds left AND THE BALL, you take the intentional safety. You don’t run a play, and then give it back to the Niners, and then leave Jerry Rice single covered

Montana’s TD pass in the 93 playoffs vs Pittsburgh should have been higher. That was on 4th down. If he failed the game was over.

Not a niners Fan. I know the ring count Brady has. And yet, my eyes always told me that Montana was the best to ever do it at the qb position.

i watched that SF game starting this off at The Lake Of The Ozarks – after 3 KC home games i went to that year plus the Steelers playoff – it was sad to see Bruce Smith knock his block off to draw to an end to a GREAT career…(Joe ‘n Marcus Allen were KC’s West Coast offense) CHIEFS
