I have so much faith in Coach Judge! I’m so happy our organization gave this shot to him. It was him or rhule let’s be honest.!.!.!. However Coach Judge has so much to gain instead of so much to lose if that makes sense… think about it…. He’s due! It’s Judges’ order bang goes the gavel! @Daniel Jones There is no Lane Johnson in this draft. And Simmons projects to be better than Derwin. Hence the Urlacher vs Bulaga choice
Also, Connelly will still play. Maybe not 3 downs, but if you have the right personnel in place you can rotate Simmons around and use him as he should be utilized
And to clarify, I’m not saying the oline should be neglected. But a 2nd and 3rd round draft pick on OT/Center can get us some really quality players who will compete for starting jobs and develop under good coaching. Ezra Cleveland, Josh Jones, Austin Jackson, Saahdiq Charles, Ceasar Ruiz, Tyler Biadasz, Loyd Cushenberry… all these guys will be starters in the NFL, some might even be better than the “top 4.” Wills is the only one who’s a standout talent. But as a former lineman, I love evaluating college linemen. These guys dont jump out as “must draft” talents like a Lane Johnson, Quenton Nelson, Joe Thomas types
@Eric Dubnoff the rate of finding a starting olineman goes way down after the first round. Y’all can try and justify taking a mlb at 4 all you want. Reports just came out the Giants will draft mlb Logan Wilson in the second round. So sorry Jones will finally get some protection.

+Charles Diego We ain’t that deep. All we have after Blake Martinez is Ryan Connelly (a fifth round rookie recovering from an ACL injury after just three games so the jury’s still out on him despite his promising skill set) and David Mayo (a good back up but not much more then that). Isaiah Simmons would fill the room very nicely.
charles deyo yea but none of them LB’s can cover a TE and its not like drafting a lineman @ 4 will make the line complete or are generational players but drafting a talent like Simmons will def do wonders for their Defense plus you’ll have 9 other picks to get a few lineman which DG is great at finding gems in latter rounds🤔🤔
