Joe Burrow throws for 525 yards to set Cincinnati Bengals record | Pro Football Talk | NBC Sports

Adam Wondrely

Mike nailed it

Richard Mersmann

I seemed 6o remember harbaugh was in the same situation a few years ago. He went for a record and after tge game said “we realized we were close yo a record and we went for it.” Now he’s but hurt for the same thing. But that team didn’t lay down so good for them

    Silvio Dionisotti

Years? More like games, it was ravens 100 yards rushing game record against the broncos this season

    EST 1981

@Silvio Dionisotti They also went for a rushing record vs Bengals (401 yards) while up 38-3 in week 17 last year. Bengals were starting Brandon Allen at QB, backup RB and all backup d-line. Harbaugh didn’t care.

    Colin Weller

Who is butt hurt? Nobody on the ravens said anything about it.

    Zod-

    Nobody is hurt

EST 1981

Ravens went for a rushing record (401 yards) while up 38-3 against an injury riddled Bengals team last year. Bengals were starting Brandon Allen at QB, a backup RB, nobody healthy on d-line, etc.

    W G

@Andy Bales sooooo about Burrow huh

    Andy Bales

    @W G looked good…Bengals get 1/2 win…Refs get the other 1/2

    W G

    @Andy Bales what about now

    Andy Bales

@W G still waiting for an impressive win…there gonna be one?

    W G

@Andy Bales idk largest comeback in a championship. 4 win team last year. Beat the chiefs twice … without penalties this time.

Going to the Super Bowl in his first full season.

colton foreman

The ravens can’t be mad about the Bengals “running the score up” Harbaugh is literally on record saying that when his players are close to records he tries to get it for them. They ran it up on the Bengals trying to get a record last year without Burrow so the Bengals didn’t do anything but take advantage of an opportunity 🤷🏼‍♂️

    Why Whyerson

It’s also 3rd and 4. He can’t kneel to win the game. Burrow threw the ball and mixon could’ve scored and didnt. They knelt the ball when they could. Obviously throwing the ball deep was so burrow could break the record. But they could’ve scored another touchdown.

    Tim T

He’s not media was trying to make it that. Listen to harbaugh interview

Mama cita

Remember mike florio saying the bengals were pushing burrow to come back before he was ready? And that they wouldn’t make .500 this year?? Dude talks out both sides of his face

    David Montgomery

To be fair to him he acknowledged that he was wrong an took his L months ago. I don’t expect someone to bring up their bad preseason predictions every week.

Rawkstar1960

Tight end, tight end, tight end, tight end. We need to learn how to defend against one and we need one. Don’t get me wrong-Love Uzomah but I don’t think he’s Kittle or Andrews.

    Kaimi Lilly

He didn’t even have that good of a game

    Kaimi Lilly

Jk I see what ur saying now

Zachary Sturgeon

If Boyd would have caught that one touchdown that almost got completed, he would have the all time record.

JahNuhThun Dee The One And Only

Joe Burrow and the Bengals will run the AFC North for the next 5 years

    Thomas V

    ANTHONY CLARK

    JoeA

Haha that’s funny. The ravens injury bug is only a 1 year thing, enjoy it while it lasts

Nicholas Holmes

It’s nice to see the senior Golic out here still.

soupairradio

When the shoes on the other foot, then listen to Harbaugh.

Chris B

Cincinnati needs to extend Hendrickson’s contract and Jessie Bates!! Don’t let those 2 go!!

    Tony Davis

    Big facts

    David Montgomery

They literally just signed Hendrickson to a 4 year deal this offseason.

    Tom Miller

    bates can walk

One Nation Underground

The Bengals and Ravens are 22-22 against each other since 2000.

Robert Chasteen

I’m old enough to remember when the Ravens ran at the end of the Broncos game this year to make sure they got 100 yards

    denigster

    i like how you start with – i m old enough 🙂

    Christopher Smith

woah grampa this is modern days, kids can’t relate to those kinda stories.

    Robert Chasteen

@Christopher Smith apparently not 😆 it was a really long couple months ago.

ramiram84

burrow is a beast. wish the NINERS had him.

Jack Harrist

i have a question for all the haters saying it’s easy to beat up on the ravens “practice squad.” Why did Joe throw for 300 more yards than Aaron Rodgers against the same scrubs?

    markula4040

You’re not being a ‘hater’ when you bring up a point. You’re being a hater when you hate on someone without any reason. Can you at least pretend you have an ounce of intelligence and get a clue before you label objective criticism as just people being haters?

    Andy Bales

Because Burrow threw almost 20 more times, and they ran for 100 yards…not rocket science

    Scott Knisley

Funny how people forget the bengals and Joe burrow did this the first time in Baltimore. They was only missing less than a handful of starters and they still dropped 41 on them.

Fred Betts

Tee Higgins is the new Megatron!!!

    Andy Spaeth

Most underrated WR in the NFL.

keggluneq

“Washington Football Club had a lot of players on IR, and look what happened to them?” Well… yeah? That’s the point. Practice squads get demolished by good teams. That’s why they’re on the practice squad.

I’d be embarrassed to gloat about beating up on a D-list practice squad. Ravens were missing 33 players, then 34 when Averett went down. I can guarantee that Golic never came close to playing a game with 34 missing players.

Just ME

People forget they took Green Bay to OT

Kim Durig

There are some great young QB’s in the NFL but I’m not trading Joey B for any of them .

Cameron Montgomery

I came into this season watching football expecting the chiefs to dominate the bucs to dominate the packers and ravens to kinda of dominate and everyone else screw em but what this crap ive seen has told me is that you cant predict the nfl and ive gained a lot of respect
