Steve Lambert

Joe Burrow has been playing great as a rookie quarterback and Mixon was great today running for 150 yards with 2 touchdowns

    QSR

and 30 receiving yards with a td

    Phil Skovby

    thank you steve

RayRay Likes Football

Burrow, Mixon, and the Bengals will be an unstoppable offense in a few years

    G-Supr3m3

    haha cap

    Pat B

They need a line first and that’s not very easy to just get

    RayRay Likes Football

    @Pat B that’s why i said in a few years

    Pat B

RayRay Likes Football well see if they can do that.

    HDRookie

@Jonathan Frimerman it lowkey already is. the bengals with normal luck are 2-2 or 2-1-1 i think. cards and 49ers (albeit, injured) aren’t looking as great now, I think the Rams are a bit overrated, and Seattle is absolutely backpacked by Russ. The top 2 teams in the north I think are better than any of the teams in the west, cleveland is good, and cincinnati is probably underrated (they’re 4-0 against the spread for instance)

Kmakesaplay

whoo hoo!! lsu fans be like: #burreaux

senraC_atokaD

I hope we draft at least 2 good O Linemen next year. Our skill positions are elite

    Adrian

War Productions are u dumb😂 Skill positions are rb, wr, te. Positions that get the ball

    OceansideBoy760

    Hi https://youtu.be/niZGrSYM7mU

    8MoneyIzmyMission8

@Adrian I’ve been saying this. Get rid of Green’s contract in the offseason and get a veteran OL in FA and go after one in the first round next year.

    sam sparks

@8MoneyIzmyMission8 that’s why we drafted tee Higgins have him learn under aj for a year and improve under aj and then get rid of aj and try to get someone like Joe thuny from the pats or someone with huge upside like Morgan Moses from Washington and draft someone like Powell from Oregon or Wyatt Davis from Ohio State.

    Adrian

Honestly we have had really bad luck with drafting o lineman. So I say pick up a free agent tackle or guard and honestly draft a corner or linebacker in the first. Then second draft either a guard or tackles that we didn’t get in the offseason.

MRTUPAC 28

This kid Burrow is gonna be a good QB overall in the future. CIN has been blessed and keep building around him.

    Ashton Todarello

    @Esky this is football

    Oliver McCall

@Esky I hope they lose just for the unrelated comment

    Esky

His profile pic was a Yankees logo lol

    JoJoKiwi

If he had a solid O-Line i think he could’ve lead the Bengals to a playoff in his first year.

    B Rus

Still doesn’t have an indoor practice facility though

VENOMRAGE

Not flashy, reminds me of a taller more athletic Drew Brees. Ball on time and accurate.

    Vizzy

I’ve been saying that since his amazing LSU run.

    Gracialon Ignasiver

Probably because the QB coach of the saints assisted the offensive coordinator of LSU last season. Burrows pretty much ran the same system as Brees while at LSU, and apparently the Bengals run a similar system, which is why Burrows was the best fit for them.

    SvgeMars

Gracialon Ignasiver They also watched every single snap he took last year and adopted some of the lsu playbook into their own

    The Inquisitor

You know Drew Brees was actually pretty damn athletic when he was younger. He was at least as quick as Burrow.

    RalphSimmz

Exactly what i thought of him out of LSU. Field Surgeon with elite poise and decision making . He’s actually a lot like Joe Montana with the way he moves around .

MinePlay 512

Burrow is going to be elite. The Kid is very special.

    Jabal Jones

And when Lamar posted better numbers against the dolphins people started to say he had no competition🤦🏿‍♂️😂…

    Kevin Dukes

@Klaus Kloss you must be a Clemson fan

    Cincy 513

    BIDEN 2020

    Joey Grant

Ik I seen it every week so far he’s finally getting his chemistry down with his teammates but the o line better play this well every week if we go back to what we were hes a big red target

    Yeet

Bruce Sanchez the bengals aren’t garbage. They are very competitive so stop saying they are trash lol that’s the point in rebuilding, and the bengals are nearly done with the rebuilding

Chance Baraks

If they can get a half decent line and keep him off the ground and give just a split second more he looks like he’ll have a bright future. Between him, Kyler, Deshaun, Lamar, Mahomes, Tua, Darnold, Allen, Minshew, and Herbert plus guys like Lawrence, Fields, and Howell coming out we’ll see a lot of great QB battles for years to come.

    Yugi Yami

not if the bengals cant protect him, this is probably the best qb they’ve got in the 21st century for once it appears they didnt get a bust so they got to make sure not mess this opportunity up

    Scott Bennici

did you really say Darnold? I guess having one good play each game is enough for you to think he has a bright future instead of all the pick 6’s he throws

    Joey Grant

@Yugi Yami Fr aside from this week that line has given me heart attacks with the way Joey B been getting hit but you can see when he has time he starts spreading the field and that’s scary also it really helped having Joe mixon run the way he did took alot of pressure off Burrow

    Chris Floyd

Replace Darnold with Prescott. Dak is having a monster year but his defense is terrible

Branden Hill

This kid has no nerves in the pocket at all it’s like watching a vet

    Razor Edge

@Branden Hill LMAO yeah nobody’s gonna argue with that, Burrow>Darnold regardless of the teams they play for

    Branden Hill

@Razor Edge I mean I thought Darnold was gonna be good and he shows flashes if he was on the right team I think he’d be something but you gotta be really transcendent go come into dysfunction early and ball

    Fgtrggh Tgcddr

@trha2222 only 300 yards… Lol okay guy. He’s thrown for 300+ yards 4 straight games. No rookie quarter back has ever done that. Andy dalton couldn’t even throw for 300+ a whole season.

    Antonio Craig

    @Marcus Aurelius exactly he’s Unreal

    Antonio Craig

    @Abe McGee its one interception

Stan ezen

Burrow is a soldier on the field. What a joy to watch for years to come. Nice win bengals nation!

    Alan J

He won’t be around much longer with that o-line.

    Jack Ackkk

@Alan J andrew luck type beats

MrHoundDoug

Congrats Bengals Joe has looked the goods since week 1. I suspect he is going to be making me sad for many years to come.

    MrHoundDoug

@ajkubar Steelers, hopefully big Ben’s arm starts in one piece long enough to get to the SB this year 🙂

    MrHoundDoug

    @ajkubar 🙂 fair enough

    xCooldog

@MrHoundDoug 2005 Carson gets hurt and 2015 andy dalton having an mvp like season and gets hurt both against u guys

    MrHoundDoug

@xCooldog To avoid that it might be a good idea if Mike Brown invests in some O-line quality to protect Joe. Week 1 IIRC they looked permeable though that could have just been rust from no game time so they might have improved last couple of games.

Christian Corley

Burrow needs to be rookie of the year! He’s a great leader and never ever gives up, and he’s gonna do wonders for the bengals. Dudes is so talented! Congrats on the win Bengals! -A Browns fan

    HERBERT HYPE TRAIN

Justin Herbert for Rookie of the Year

    BBC_PRO

    HERBERT HYPE TRAIN bruh

    Kim Jung Un

@HERBERT HYPE TRAIN If herb can start winning he will easily be rookie of the year

    David Krumme

    Herberts been playing better

Andrew Scott

And that was with two would-be touchdown passes going right through the hands of his receivers and another cancelled out by a penalty.

Brently Howell

This kid is gonna be amazing to watch. He is so poised in the pocket.

JustCallMeLuuf

Wish aj green could have gotten back to his old self. Seems like players can never truly come back to their elite status after injury.

    Jonathan Wright

    Cam can

    John Bissainthe

Definitely not same player. You know why? No highlight reels. That’s when you can tell he’s not elite anymore.

    JustCallMeLuuf

@Jonathan Wright he got mvp but was inconsistent afterwards even before his injury. And right now, it’s still too early to tell.

    Zayaa xG

    Too early to say

    gothard5

Andy Dalton and AJ Green need to be together. Without each other, they suck.

Abe McGee

This kid doesn’t make too many mistakes and is not sloppy with the ball like most rookies. Wait until he soak up some more NFL experience, Brady 2.0.

    Frozone Enozorf

He ain’t going nowhere in Cincinnati

    Abe McGee

@Frozone Enozorf I’d agree for now only because of Bengal’s coaching and management. But Joe is for real. Put him on Belichick’s winning system and he’d be Brady 2.0.

    Isaiah Romano11

Abe McGee he isn’t Tom Brady 2.0, he is Joe Burrow

    YOA

there wont ever be a brady 2.0 lol…

    John M.

Agreed but the bar is really low this year. A lot of veterans looking like they never played before.

Glass man forshore

Andy Dalton has 29 ct. 300 yard games for Bengals in 9 years.. At this rate Joe Cool will have this record during next years playoff run.

    Core Scracher

Damn. That’s less than 3 a year for Dalton. Dalton sucks

Marcus Aurelius

2:06 – The way Joe stands in the pocket is like an NFL veteran QB.

That Boy

This dude is ice cold, Bengals might be a playoff threat in a year or two.

    Nitro Glycerin

If their offensive line continues to play like they did today they might make the playoffs this year as truth be told they could’ve won all 4 game’s so far as they haven’t lost a game by more than 5 points I think give or take, and that’s with horrendous offensive line play, however today the line never gave up a single sack, and they played very solid in all phases including run blocking, and pass protection!

I could see the Bengals easily finishing 9-6-1 with a wildcard or maybe 10-5-1 if their offensive line plays as good as they did today, and obviously that’s a big question mark as 1 good game isn’t enough to convince Me they’ve fixed their line problems but it’s a good start as they got some confidence now, and especially with Mixon finally getting going, etc as These 2020 Bengals could surprise people the rest of the season !

    Fyi,

I’ve always liked Dalton, and I’ve been a defender of him as a very good but never great quarterback, however after seeing Burrow Play these first 4 game’s there’s no comparison as Dalton ain’t even close to The Talent of Burrow as The Bengals got A Kid that’s already showing Big Time Elite Level talent, and he’s only gonna get better, and better the more he Plays, and the better his pass protection gets !

    HDRookie

@Nitro Glycerin this probably isnt the year. i think any offensive line can protect well enough against jacksonville. but yeah, today was really promising. no sacks. the first 3 weeks the bengals played some really good defensive lineman (bosa, garrett, cox).

    Nitro Glycerin

HDRookie we’ll see against Baltimore whether or not the offensive line, and these Bengals are on the upward trend because it’s the Bengals we’re talking about so they gotta prove they can play consistent football, and there’s no better test than playing the defending AFC north champions!
