I don’t think he will last after this season just like his other times in Detroit and Washington only lasting 2 years
It’s like the defense regressed in the 2nd year yet except for zadarious Smith who he was without last year anyway we have more talent on the field with Alexander and Wyatt and quay walker should be helping vs the run more
@Eric packers they are playing out off place or in a less aggressive posture. To far off their man. Losing players in zone coverage. Not knowing when to set the edge or go at qb. Getting caught up on blocks that should have been taken up by the front. It’s like they are playing a mixed man zone do what I think best defense with no real structure. Maybe we should be running a 434 d instead of a 344. Campbell certainly has regressed to the point of just reach for tackles and missing. It’s like they are chasing a greased pig. And Stokes I’m not even sure about. He’s playing like a faster k king. He’s a fast guy but slow to react still. His feet needs to keep moving with the player and his anticipation should be better if in the right position. That’s what jaire does so well. Just like all the greats do so well. If your too far away to make a play on the ball, then you gave too much space from the start. At that point it’s just a tackle drill. What ever happened to the drop zone? When one side of the defense stunts and brings a ILB from that side and the other side rotates to cover in zone or man. This d is so ordinary and submissive except for Gary, Jaire and sometimes Clark and occasionally Amos and Campbell. Not consistently have each been against the run. Blaming J. BARRY

From his last rated defense in Detroit.. . It seems dominant to him… but this is anything from a pressure oriented or dominant defense. Gosh is he bad! Shame on GB for this hire and continuance of not firing him.

Many NFL prognosticators predicted the Packers: 1. Offense would struggle at times because of Bakhtiari and Jenkins coming back from injury and losing D.Adams and MVS….That has held TRUE. 2. Special Teams would be much improved. Except for the Jet’s game , that has been TRUE. 3. Defence would be ELITE; either Top 5 or Top 10 at the worst…..That has been FALSE. So far the biggest thing that hasn’t come through has been a defence that has been incredibly inconsistent at best; poor against the run , especially in the second half; very poor defending the edge; poor tackling; and a HUGE difficulty taking the ball away. The defence doesn’t have as much depth as it thinks. There is a huge drop off when the seconds on the D-Line are in the game, especially at OLB.
