I really like our draft, not because of Gase but thanks to our GM. I am still interested in our Undrafted FA’s. I like CB Guidry, the edge rusher they got. and perhaps Lamar Jackson as a backup S, who I think with his slow 4.58 speed can cover TE’s well as he has size
The thing that constantly worries a Jets fan is the way they come up short when they most need to deliver. Last years, going 6 and 2 down the stretch was great, but they lost to two teams that were that were a combined 0 and 18 in the Dolphins and the Bengals, both teams notching their first win against a Jets team that on paper should have won. Remember Todd Bowles first year, all they needed to do was win their last game and they were in the playoffs, but they failed to win when they needed it most. And they do this every year, just total collapses at just the moment then the good teams shine, it’s very worrisome, because it’s been such a long time pattern with this franchise. I have high hopes, but they need to be a better more consistent team mentally when the games go up in importance and pressure. They’ll need to prove they aren’t losers when the big moments arrive.
Listen just be happy Brady’s off the pats. Division is up for grabs again
Only thing i really worry about is the new O-line growing enough of a chemistry with each other before the season starts
