Pollard needs more playing time, he could replace Zeke for sure. I’m all about making your money but be sensible about it, you might just regret decisions made to early.
He and Morris combo will make up for Zeke. Yes Zeke gives us more explosive and 20 plus yard gains at a time but we dont have to have that to win. All we need is 4 yards a carry if we can do that then we are fine. People tend to forget that our oline has done nothing but produce good rushing attacks and multipile Rushers thats went over 1000 yards a season. I love Zekes skill set and what he brings to the team but I dont love his off field issues and I dont love him holding out 2 years before contract if it was 1 year left then fine but not 2 when all he has is stats and all we have is one wildcard win with him. Sorry but Id rather keep our team than have to lose vital players on defense to keep him when in reality he has maybe 3 years left and more likely 2 good years left has been in NFL 3 years missed Six games yet is 140 away from the 1000 carry mark and everyone knows once a RB hits that thousand mark there durability and ability starts to go down hill and he wants 15 million nah no way
If your so sure that he can be replaced, then why are worried about him being sensible? He’s the best player on the team and the best running back in the league, Dak prescott isn’t even top 10 and he turned down 30 million now tell me who’s not being sensible.

@Travis Holly they’re both both in the wrong. I personally don’t care but like any job, you have to be sensible when asking for a raise. The entire organization needs to work together, it’s more than just one or two people that need to get paid.

Its preseason dude they are not going to give any real clues to anyone until regular season. We are at advantage already with teams not having tape on kellens play book no need to give others a clue what we are working on 4 weeks until kick off.

Ppl let’s no go off the deep end, Pollard is not ready for any type of real game situation whatsoever. Taking a handoff vs picking up the blitz is night and day from a complete performance. Don’t kid yourself Pollard is Morris’ backup and Morris is behind Zeke, that’s the depth chart. This isn’t FANTASY FOOTBALL 🤔

We needed Pollard as an extra force in addition to zeke. Not in zekes absense. It takes a special rb to pull off our outdated bell cow system. This league has dual rb systems that produce better results. Its a passing League that features rbs in the slot. And 6 potent weapons on the field on every passing play.
