@Cowboys VA could careless about comp picks, we are looking for rings and this style of player acquisition has kept us from even sniffing a ring in decades they have become to focused on the number of pro bowlers they can draft
@zandz it doesn’t matter what you care about. I’m telling you what they care about. It’s why they get a 2 player for one spot thru FA or FA and draft. Every fan wants rings . Going out and spending a ton of money on FA doesn’t guarantee that

Yeah…to some degree it hasn’t totally worked but getting to the superbowl isn’t as easy and the novice fan believes. it’s why it took the eagles 52 years to win one..look at all the FAs they had roll thru their doors over those years. Once they had a ” dream team ” of FA players and won like 6 games. It’s why it took the chiefs 50 years to win another. Was there any crying about their drought while they went thru it ??? No…fans had some frustration and hopes but no crying like some Cowboys fans who think their team should never go thru what other team’s go thru. Jerry gets the coaches the players they want . McClay scouts and pushes for certain draft picks. The front office makes moves as a whole while different HCs have came thru. Not solely Jerry

He is focused on winning. It’s why he and the coaches make the moves they have. They’ve experienced bad luck thru the 26 years but that is the life of this sport.
