Cutler and the Bears host the Giants on Thursday night to kick off Week 6. He’s thrown for 300 or more yards in consecutive weeks against the Lions and Saints, and should remain hot against a New York defense that’s been giving up yards at an alarming fashion.
Almost the only word of caution for Cutler owners is the Giants’ rush defense has been equally as inept as it’s pass defense. Just seven teams are allowing more passing yards weekly than the Giants’ 269.2, and only three teams have given up more rushing yards. Thanks to the emergence receiver Alshon Jeffery opposite Brandon Marshall, Cutler is a bona fide QB1 in Week 6
