People hating on this pick need to understand this guy saves us 3 mil by cutting Pinion, and ridding ourselves of one of the worst punters in the league. So upgrade at Punter and saves precious cap space to help bring back Suh or Gronk. Also this guy is very good at kickoffs, so we dont have to worry too much about returns.
Then Zyon absolutely stolen in the 5th. In Jason Licht We Trust.
4.5 punter.. hmm you don’t think we’ll see a fake punt or two do y’all? Also just the threat of a fake can dictate the coverage team and give your gunners a more favorable situation.
It is definitely no accident that the Tampa Bay Team is now a contender year after year. Jason Licht and his staff work so, so much on being prepared at every step and consider every option going forward.
Licht has been on a roll with drafts and this yr is no different. Mccollum was my fav pick of the draft
I’m a lifelong (37 years) diehard Bucs fan, dating back to the Sam Wyche era of struggling to win 2 games…..but to be fair, the reason we have contended the last 2 years and possibly this year is Brady. Licht has made some good draft moves for sure but Brady is the main reason we have been winning (and I was Never a fan of his).
