Same old losing seasons? The ONLY losing season Garrett had was the year that Romo went down early in the year and they ended up with a 4-12 record. That resulted in a top 4 pick. Without that there would be no Zeke Elliot on this team. The only other losing season in the Garrett era they had was the year Wade Phillips was fired in 2010 when they had a 6-10 record.

@NebTheWeb Maybe our definitions are different. The fact remains, we haven’t been relevant since Jason became coach. How long do you think he should stick around?

@JUST CALL ME WEBB I never said he was a great coach but the relevancy of the Cowboys will always be based on winning. The problem is Cowboy fans expect to win the SB every frickin year so when they don’t they think it is a losing season. It doesn’t work that way, unless you are the Cheatriots coached by Bill Bellicheat who just happen to play in a conference where they are NEVER challenged year after year. When was the last time another team from that division has won that division? I think it was the Jets and Mark Sanchez. Before that? Buffalo back in the day? Besides, who out there would you have as head coach?

@NebTheWeb I completely understand what you are saying. But it’s coming up on a quarter of a century since we’ve been in the conversation of a Superbowl contender. At best, we make it to the playoffs and get beat out in the first or second game. I just don’t see Garrett as a real coach. It’s not a bandwagon thing. I’ve wanted him gone for years. Playing good football and almost winning is different from proving that you can lose for 10 years. Who would I choose as head coach? That’s a very good, but tough question. I honestly don’t know at this point.

@JUST CALL ME WEBB Not really. There were a couple of teams since then that should of gone far but didn’t and that includes DAKs and Zekes first year. Home field advantage and all. It didn’t happen. 2007 was another year. It didn’t happen. Call it back luck, or bad play, it just didn’t happen.
