He needs to find his place.. So far it’s been trying to put a square peg in a round hole.. My fingers are crossed that Undlin can use him more as a OLB/ Edge with more blitzing.
Joseph Murdock still Quinn and Patricia said they wanted to keep him as a cornerstone type player and then they go and decline his 5th year option.
Joseph Murdock but yeah he’s never really played as an outside linebacker for us that I can remember but hopefully he can do better at the coverage role he keeps being forced into

He’s just not good for coverage.. He was a good at stopping the run in college.. With the addition of Collins JD can be put @ OLB and just attack the ball.

Nah keep kerryon they just have to stop using him as a bruiser back. I think he’ll have a good season only because he’ll have a good runmate to split the carries with and lower the workload on himself
I disagree. At the very least, he’s a very talented backup on a rookie contract…that said, I think if Patricia uses him to his strengths, he can be a great starter…Hoping he breaks out!

I hope Jarred gets a chance to blitz more this year. With the versatility of the secondary Jarred could add a bunch of pressure to qbs, forcing turnovers and a handful of sacks.
I was thinking the same with him @ OLB.. Collins and Tavai in the MLB they have the jack covered.. JD can be a missile on any blitz package Undlin has up his sleeve.
We love you in Detroit Jarred, go earn yourself a new deal with the Lions. You are very fast and athletic but if you pause for a split second in the play you can see where the hole is opening up and make a better decision where to plug up runs. You are so fast you can afford to let the run plays play out before making a your move. Let the play come to you unless you are blitzing in which case I would say use your break neck speed and power and run through that line and fly at Arron Rogers. Even if you don’t get him you could force him to make a bad throw, maybe an interception. I’ll be cheering for you.
I’m glad he is a Lion this year he gonna ball out and really show everyone his full value. I think he could get 7+ sacks.i think a pass rush role would do great for him #onepride Let’s get it JD my guy
