New Orleans Saints quarterback Jameis Winston speaks with the media after re-signing with the Saints for 2 more years during the 2022 NFL Free Agency signing period.

Winston started the first seven games of the 2021 season and was voted by his teammates as a captain, helping guide the Saints to a 5-2 record as a starter prior to suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week Eight. He completed 95-of-161 passes for 1,170 yards, 14 touchdowns, three interceptions and a 102.8 passer rating, ranked first in the NFL at the time of his injury in touchdown percentage (8.7). Winston originally signed with New Orleans in 2020 as an unrestricted free agent.

Buc’s fan here, and I still love this brother, the Saints have a great qb for their franchise for the the next ten years, he did an excellent job for us but I feel he was limited, and being it was Florida we had a base of people who didn’t won’t a brother running the franchise, and yeah I said it, but going against Winston for the next ten years is going to be tough after TB12 leaves, good luck Saints I’m with yall and my Buc’s👊🏿👏🏿💯

And Winston also provided us with alot of truth telling, and for the Winston haters, now you see why there were a few hiccups along the way, Winston had no input into the game plan, he couldn’t tell Sean what he liked as a QB, nor did Sean Peyton ask…
