@jwill1558 didn’t say kupp wasn’t good the last couple of years. I was just comparing his insane year vs tae’s consistent last couple of great years with many of them being insane. It just seems like it’s very uncommon for a player to be a 99 from one insane year vs a player who had multiple great years back to back

Amari cooper disappears from games lol and the bengals just played in the Super Bowl in Jamarr’s first season. This is embarrassing if you watched what Chase did to the Chiefs. Completely ruined their secondary. And chardavious ward or whatever.
This is madden, they never put a player coming off a super good rookie year to a high overall (90+) they usually wait till like mid way through the season to boost them to that deserved overall if they keep playing how they did or get better.

If these ratings gives Ja’Marr the motivation to work a little harder to improve during the offseason, it is a win-win situation for the Bengals and their fans.

@Derek Poland you act like teams didn’t have tape on him during the season. Lastly the Justin Jefferson had success as well going into his 2nd year after breaking the rookie record. Who’s to say Chase couldn’t do the same as well
@Joe Doe you just proved my point. If justin broke the record not too long ago, that means chase isnt special. Any WR at any given draft could do the same. And i said IF THE SCHEME doesnt change this year he wont be successful. I think chase looked amazing last year, i even wanted the bengals to win the SB as a browns fan, but i dont think chase is this unstoppable machine like the media paints him

Madden didn’t rate Jefferson that highly last year. It isn’t that big of a deal. Madden just tends not to rate second year players highly. Parsons is only an 88 as well. However, I agree that Chase’s play last season should warrant at least a 90. Parsons should be a 93-94.

And what’s funny is Jamar Chase was playing as if he was a 99 ovr his rookie season. How many people? He burnt down the sideline caught balls right over their heads. Or juked out an entire defense and took it to the house. Made two people collide in mid-air with each other and scored a touchdown embarrassed that defensive back from the Packers by catching a literal threaded needle pass. He did more amazing catches than anybody else. Maybe Debo Samuel has more

As a Dallas fan I assure you Amari “Always on the sidelines, helmet in hand when you need him” Cooper is not better than Ja”Marr. Chase is top 5 at worst.
This is why there needs to be competition from competing organizations in sports video games. EA has embarrassed themselves for the thousandth time by having people work on games and ratings that know nothing about actual football.

Chase and burrow had first-year success, kinda like the browns in 2020 stephanskis first year. Dont have chase on here because if the scheme doesnt change, teams are going to be able to make a actual plan of attack, something alot of teams couldnt do last year(except the browns😉)
Got this fun fact from some buddy on that’s not good sports.
Out of 81 receptions, 56 went for first downs, and 13 to tds. That’s leaves 12 receptions that weren’t first downs or tds. Impressive
there’s so many really talented receivers, any top 10 list is going to leave out a couple remarkable guys.
I make my own ratings for top players yearly and historically. I had Chase at #5 as a 95 overall. #6 was Lockett at 90 so it really wasn’t that close.
i actually think chase might have an argument for being a top 3 wr… however, remember that madden ratings have been very consistent with the fact that you have to it for multiple years to solidify your elite ranking – yes i know its stupid but thats how they have always done it (herbert being low last year, chase being low here, kupp being a 98 even)

They don’t make the ratings by the players stats 🤦🏽♂️ go by each category on how the player actually plays and you’ll come up with something similar for chase speed,short route, med route, deep route, catching, CIT, spec catch, awareness, acceleration you’ll literally come up with a 87 overall also
