Former Chargers nose tackle Jamal Williams reacts to the honor of being inducted to the Chargers Hall of Fame. Williams was selected to three Pro Bowls in 12 seasons with the Bolts during his HOF career. Williams will be honored at the Chargers’ Week 7 game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in LA. Presented by American Airlines.

The best Nose tackle I ever seen. This man commanded double teams freeing up our outside linebackers. In 2006 when the Chargers led the league in sacks recording 62, Jamal didn’t record many sacks, he got Shawne Merriman and Shaun Phillips one on ones with the right and left tackles. Those guys won those matchups more often than not. Still the greatest team to not win it all… because of a safety, I won’t say his name.. we all know number 20.

Jamal was incredible… prob a top 3 DL in Chargers history for me. Having a stout nosetackle that you can rely on is a gift… he was rarely beat.
