Rashaad Penny. Pick # 27. The jury still out, but other than the fact that he was a small-school player (SDSU) there was no injury-prone indication, and he was every bit as good of a pick as say, Clyde Edwards-Helaire?
LJ Collier, Pick # 29. Coming along. Just got another sack yesterday. Show me anyone else drafted after him you think Pete would want more. I’m sure you could find one or two, but unless you can find 20, you really can’t call a # 29 pick a waste when he’s producing.
Jordyn Brooks, # 27. Been watching Patrick Queen in Baltimore every chance I get. Jury out there, for sure, probably the most questionable 1st-rounder yet, but Jordyn is certainly comparable – especially since he’s gotten nowhere near the playing time.
