@tweezerjam34 I feel u. I wasn’t tryna say that. But I think the expectations for Hurts and the Eagles (this season specifically) were/are set too high. We’re not built to be competitive this year with a new coaching staff/QB/WR1. Next year will be different.
Give him a great defense (after our three 1st round draft picks next year) and let him be a game manager next year and we ready against anybody. QB’s get better year by year, not week by week. Today I saw improvement with his arm. That’s all I ask to see.
@drty sth273 i dunno about that. I didn’t expect much from this season at all. Hurts is limited, bottom line. He’ll be a good backup in this league for ten years but he’s not a starting qb in this league.

Jalen should never throw while backpedaling or rolling to his left. We need playcalling that highlights his strengths, not his limitations as a passer. Love his moxie though.
Yeah the play calling blows. I’d love to see what duce would’ve done with these players.

Just gonna say this, most qbs in nfl history started slow we shouldn’t except anything different from hurts he deserves another year and we add defensive weapon during the draft, not mad at this loss at all today

Even though he surely wasn’t the reason we lost, he still puts the blame on himself. This dude is driven and he will be great, If we wait 1 or 2 Years he’ll be a top 10 QB. I believe he has potential to be the greatest QB in Franchise History.
The Eagles aren’t in the business of On-The-Job-Training. The NFL is a business. It win now, not later. There have been many QBs come out of college and ready to perform. They definitely aren’t waiting two or three years to see if he is a diamond in the rough.
@D Lee Peyton Manning was 3-13 his 1st year and wasn’t good at all until year 3. Rodgers spent 3 Years sitting behind Brett Favre. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Love his mentality. Definitely think there’s room for him to improve but he’s hungry and wants to get better. I want him to turn this ship around and get some W’s going around here
Hurts is trying to Develop with the worst coaching staff you can give a very young player😩. Damn I hope he overcome the odds despite this front office. I love this dude game and mindset 🦅🦅

Played with a lot of heart today. Made some mistakes but it’s to be expected. He’s still developing obviously it’s encouraging to see him progress and play with the courage he showed today.
All quarterbacks makes mistakes. Football is a team sport. Quarterbacks aren’t robots.

Please keep Jalen another year, we can’t afford to lose someone with the amount of potential as hurts.

TOUGH LOSS. I still don’t kno wtf gannon was thinking, but atleast sirianni called a solid game. Jalen and devonta FINALLY getting chemistry together…just not good enough right now but they playing hard
