How can a player stop from falling on a QB while tackling. These QB’s use that rule to their advantage. Game I saw Saturday where he had the QB wrapped up then let him go, fear of a flag being thrown then the QB ran for a first down. C’mon this is football.

It happened to RGIII and Russel Wilson. Mobile abs who are avg passers in the pocket are horrible long term investments. Coordinators must teach and scheme timing offense to protect qbs long term and allow thrse mobile qbs to do well when they lose mobility in their later years. Lamar Jackson has limited years of quality play left.
When I fist saw that play, I had a feeling it wasn’t good. That much weight on your shoulder is never a good thing.
It’s not a penelty when body weight falls on anyone ridiculous rule needs to be eliminated. Part of the game cannot be considered a penelty. People get hurt in various ways playing tackle football cannot make it a penelty just tackling someone makes absolutely no sense whatsoever whoever thinks so is insane.
