You don’t want to trade him. He’s naturally gifted. Understand, he was a true freshman at Alabama. He dominated the NFL style SEC. He was the SEC offensive player of the year as a true freshman. But let’s get to the truth. Jalen lost his job to Tua, because Saban was trying to sew up Tua’s brother. There was no reason to take Jalen Hurts’ job. If Jalen’s last name was Manning, do you think he would have lost his job?
Jalen is such a good kid and a good player, but the rage I feel towards howie roseman seeing all that talent he passed on that could help carson and the team IMMEDIATELY, for a back up QB in the 2nd round.. joe Douglas was a bigger loss than people realize in evaluating and drafting players. Howie needs to go seriously I can’t defend him anymore.
howie doesn’t need to go. Howie just shouldn’t be given the final decision on who to draft.
@Pets Infinity Fair enough, that man howie roseman had the audacity to say “we wanna be a QB factory”.. instead of helping out your $100m QB or the defense, you take a project in the 2nd round to “develop”.. look at how Denver took care of their young QB over there.. already had sutton who’s a pro bowler.. they add jerry jeudy then hamler.. but howie over here trying to be the Walmart of the NFL for QBs to get value later down the road while wasting Carson’s prime. I feel that howie regret giving up Lamar Jackson to Baltimore . If we would of had Lamar when Carson went down we would probable had another ring last season. This was a good pick especially when your qb can never finish a season and the season is gonna get longer
