Jalen Hurts Continues to Prove Naysayers Wrong! – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

He improved alot on his accuracy and decision making. The eagles also did great by him in adding the beast that is aj brown. It’s gonna be a good year for them

It may have looked like it, but it was never really his decision making man. He grew up a coach’s son and has always had an incredibly high football IQ. His problems stemmed from making the right reads but having major timing and anticipation issues. Like he’d make the right read, hold the ball too long/hesitate and then the opportunity would be missed and it’d make him look like he was making a bad read. Biggest difference is the dude is getting the ball out a lot quicker and trusting himself more. It always made me cringe when people said Jalen couldn’t read defenses, but it seems like he’s ironed out his timing and hesitation issues and he’s finally going to live up to his potential that I’ve been hyping up since he got drafted. Tonight made me so happy.

@Ryder Harmon Coach’s son doesn’t mean anything. Look at Todd Marinovich’s dad. He was a coach. All that said, tt probably didn’t help Hurts that Smith and Goeddert were the only guys that he could trust to actually get open and stay open without the massive possibility that they’d drop the ball or do something stupid and Smith was a rookie. Adding Brown and Pascal gave him receivers he can trust to help him out instead of being a liability even if they’re ‘open’.

Sportspsp

If Jalen plays this well and consistent, Philly should win the division.

    Casual Gamer 6

Boi its not just a player that matters its the team

    Marcus Garvin

Cowboys will come on late in the year he must continue to improve he should practice getting the ball out quicker like the Elight qbs he did well though

    Oliver Crespo

Steelers took claypool over this guy 😂 I hate life.

Real Talk

He’s definitely elevated his game.

EL Plagua

I love how Jalen hurts squats more than most linemen and that’s why he always keeps moving the pile and one defender can’t bring him down once he’s running

    Mister M

    Deadlifts over 620 pounds, like it’s nothing….

    Ryu Ken

    He was a power lifter

    Eggo Slayer

He’s basically a linebacker that can throw lol

jack's smirking revenge

I love how he was like “f*ck outta here” after he did the Gritty🤣🦅

    NoHate8

I thought I was the only person who saw that 😆

Congratulations to Hurts for believing in himself when no one did but his teammates because he is looking like a franchise qb in these highlights to say the least. I know there highlights but this is only one game and for this many highlights….. He’s proved a lot of people wrong in his journey!!!

    #WhoDat4Lyfe Kris

    I never doubted him.

    Dennis Allen

    Onward to the superbowl!

    AK 74

Lots of people were prepared to give him a chance. Eagles surrounded him with everything a young QB will want

    Taji Graham

That’s what your supposed to do. Your always supposed to be the first believer in yourself before anyone else does.

BagOfGroceries

Jalen Hurts, welcome to elite tier. Looking like one of the best picks Eagles made in a long time

#WhoDat4Lyfe Kris

I never was a naysayer…I actually called him a steal in the draft

    Gracialon Ignasiver

He definitely was a steal. Jalen Hurts’ best college season is better than Trevor Lawrence’s best season as far as statistics are concerned. And Lawrence was a #1 pick.

    Anthony Davis

@Gracialon Ignasiver but we all know why they chose Lawrence over Hurts, and it’s not skill🦒

    Oliver Crespo

Literally was screaming when I saw he was open for the Steelers, but they took Claypool 😂

Shaheen Mall

Jalen Hurts’s accuracy and decision making is a lot better than last year.

Raymond Bermea

Hurts had 300 yards passing and 50 yards rushing each resulting in touchdowns. A 53 yard TD to Quez Watkins, and a pair of TD runs from 3 yards and 26 yards.

Me DotOrg

He really sees the field well, and you get the feeling the play slows down for him. On his touchdown run down the sideline, you see him slow down and change direction, exploding into the defense before the goal line. Body control and vision.

Blake Keane

I believe the naysayers were during his first year as starter, he is a classic example of players needing time to adjust to their skill level. You also gotta look at the incredible O’Line they’ve put together. Hurts and the men around him needed last year to settle, now with confidence they look fantastic and will only improve as the season progresses.

    Alex Fromnic

He was good his first year as starter bud. The naysayers were wrong the whole way through.

    johnny brison

I’m lost so 2 games in n throwing for how many tds?

Micah

This is the win the Eagles and especially Hurts, have needed. A decisive win against a legitimately good team. Even with the offense slowing down in the second half, the defense held. They virtually negated that interception by answering with that end zone interception. This was a good showing, and I hope it continues.

Jeff Bunker

Have been a big Hurts fan since his freshman year at Bama , he is a hard worker with a winners attitude , have always said he will succeed in NFL ,

Andrew Hiedelburg

That offensive line is really impressive blocking for Hurts.

James Tajiri

I’m so happy he’s playing well because he took his replacement by Tua with so much grace

John Ennis

Never under estimate this guy’s heart and character! Way to represent H-Town! East Houston at that!
