@Crazy1Speed he’s a restricted free agent he can’t leave unless a) the Patriots don’t offer him a contract or b) he’s offered a contract, but another team pays the Patriots a 1st round draft pick and signs Jakobi for more money than the Patriots offered. The odds of another team trading a *first* *round* draft pick to the Patriots to sign Jakobi seems unlikely. Of course, the Patriots could just say see ya, good luck, and not even offer him any money.
