Looks like a Stand up, humble guy and hard worker.. fits the Joe D/Saleh culture. Just needs to beef up a bit more on his upper body…
Yeah agree needs to get stronger, work on his punch. But I like his feet. He gets good depth in pass sets. So love the potential with this kid.
Hopefully develops into a year two swing tackle and then pushes to be a starting caliber tackle

He’s going to be a solid player imo, if all you need to do is get bigger and stronger that’s the easiest part

Players like Max Mitchell will add to the New York Jets roster by giving it more depth. He will give legitimate competition to the other players on the team and be a good swing tackle at the very least.
That’s my thoughts too if he can develop into even a solid backup whould be huge win because of position so important

I think the Jets pick up another Morgan Moses caliber tackle before the season starts and Max backs up, bulks up and learns. Here’s hoping he eventually ends up a starting caliber tackle
I doubt we grab another starting caliber Tackle at this point…Any good options are already gone at this point (unless we trade for one which I doubt at this point). We should have never let Moses go I said all along…and especially for only 5 million a year…it was a steal..(I know he wanted to start but we could have figured it out and worst case of Becton returns to form, could have always traded Moses during the season if need be for a pick next year (def. Will be some needy teams during the season) was a shame letting him go.
@DrewG Douglas said he’d do just that towards the end of one of his most recent press conferences…I think Conor asked him quickly towards the very end and squeezed it in. Cuts will be made to fit certain teams under the cap etc
