‘It’s my job to exceed those expectations:’ Tim Patrick outlines his goals for the 2022 season

On this episode of “Broncos Country Connected,” wide receiver Tim Patrick joins Alexis Perry to share his mindset for the 2022 season and what it has been like catching passes from Russell Wilson. Then, NFL Draft expert Cecil Lammey previews the upcoming draft and discusses some prospects the Broncos could be interested in on Days 2 and 3. Finally, the Denver7 crew breaks down what’s in store for the players during voluntary veteran minicamp and why it’s conveniently scheduled just before the draft. Be sure to catch the original airing of “Broncos Country Connected” every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. MT on Denver7 (KMGH-TV).

I’m all aboard the train of Timmy P becoming our best receiver this year. There is nowhere safer to be than in his hands.

    Soren Lundgreen

I don’t care who’s the best WR on our team, as long as we have a balanced core.

Clinton Reisig

Beast mode is on 😃

Charles Townsend

I’m against advertising on jerseys. NFL needs to stop this.

Sean Cunningham

Holy crap Cecil has lost a LOT of weight. Good for him

Cecil looks like he just got back from a one-week stay at Spooky Island.

Tim Patrick has never been the most talented receiver on the team but always the most consistent and a chain mover. He is Denver’s Art Monk.

    Todd L.

Disagree he’s always been one of the top receivers we’ve had.

    broadcastdave

@Todd L. He’s never been the top receiver though. He’s never been the most talented either. He has, however, been consistent and if you need a 1st down on 3rd and long he’s the one to make it.

I don’t think it will take long before Russ learns Patrick is money when you really need to move the chains. A lot of receivers make great catches, but Tim makes them when it counts. I can hear it now….”Wilson takes the snap…rolling out to his right, he’s in trouble…and he finds Patrick for an 18-yard gain!”
