Why would we get offensive we need defense
pitts would make our offense that much better and scarier. we have 7 rounds in a draft we could always get people like cameron sample, ambry thomas, richie grant, jamar johnson, shaka toney so on and so forth in the later rounds we’ll be ok.

I think he’s a fit in any scheme that throws footballs to the TE. Question is does he better the areas of the team that need to be better? We have an obvious passing attack already. Does Pitts help the run game? No. His run blocking is average at best. This is another target on a team with several targets already. Pitts is a beast but what does this team need to get a better?
Blocking isn’t the only thing that makes a run game better. Clearing a LB out of the box on a coverage assignment will help out. There will be no stacking the box with Pitts an Julio on the field together. Period.
I was about to say that if you line up Pitts inside and then move him wide (while bringing a linebacker out of the box) then it helps to create a numbers mismatch for the running game

Pitts is the best at 4 & will help right away atleast offensively.
My Falcons need to draft Pitts. We can address the trenches in the second and third round. If y’all really know football, study the Florida Gators tape with Pitts on the field. Now add Ridley, Hurst, and Jones on the field at the same time. Less blitzing from the opps. Probably go against more zone coverage and Ryan can expose holes in those. We can find a nice QB in the ‘22 draft. Think like an assassin
