I feel sorry for Lance, this season was his chance to prove himself, but it turns out it was actually Purdy chance to prove something. The battle is between Lance and Purdy at this point
I feel sorry for Jimmy. First he got fired even when he took his team deep in the playoffs. Then gets another chance. Was having arguably the best season of his career before ending up with an awful injury. And now it looks like they’ll fire him again even though he’s been nothing but class and a damn good player with an impressive winning percentage.
I don’t feel sorry for pro athletes. They’re paid and will be just fine lmao Lance is a great athlete he’s just a starting QB in the NFL.
ā@gyllespie the winning percentage is in spite of jimmy g though, not because of him. he executes the offense but does nothing to elevate anyone. he actually makes it harder for himself often by making silly mistakes. this is why winning as a qb stat needs a lot of context and can’t just be used at face value.

Purdy been lookin good with that elite team around him and you know what, maybe he will take them all the way. Time will tell. I still have some doubts though, I think we’re overhyping him a little bit.
